The set allows a very strong tightening.
Certainly not as light as aluminum but in good scrap metal.
So you can squeeze very hard and it holds up well.
The paint is of high quality, no oxidation has begun after more than a week outside under a few showers.

This K&F Concept magic arm made entirely from metal, is 25cm long from tip to tip and has a quarter inch BSW fitting at both ends. From the base of each end - the flat, rubber surfaces section where you might mount a camera, monitor or similar device - it is just under 24cm. To work it, you loosen the orange butterfly nut in the middle and this will loosen the ball fittings at both ends, allowing you to position it to your taste. If you loosen it further, it will loosen the rosette in the middle, allowing it to flex its 'elbow' as you can see in the photographs - the rosette means that the angle that you set the elbow to will stay once it has been tightened. This means that you can have the two ends as close as just a few centimetres or as far away as 24. With it being made from metal, you can tighten it quite a bit so that you don't get any slippage.
In addition to the magic arm, you also get a super clamp which will screw onto one of the ends of the magic arm. The superclam has two threaded holes in it - 1 x 1/4" BSW and 1 x 3/8" BSW - this means that you are not limited to using it with the magic arm.
The jaws on the superclamp are lined with textured soft plastic and will hold circular cross-section items with a diameter ranging from around 8mm up to 55mm at which point the ends of the jaws become parallel. The threads of the butterfly screw on the clamp are held in both directions so you cannot hold the jaws closed on something and just spin the thread.
A magic arm with a superclamp is always useful because you can screw anything you like onto the spare end and mount your smartphone or an action camera onto one leg of your tripod if you want to - taking time-lapse of setting up a shot provides good footage with a number of purposes. This unit is well made, solid and strong. The only downside of it is that you cannot spin the clamp's butterfly nut to hold onto things quickly but that is not important enough to lose a star in my opinion.

K&F now also has its own Magic Arm - try it out right away. The result: at least as good as the competition in the same price range. The coating is great, the clip stays tight without breaking your fingers when putting on and the adjustment of the arm is smooth. This type of arm should do nothing more and nothing less. It's all good!

Conclusion: excellent TOP product, the clamp screw opens in a few turns and once fixed, you can rest assured; the two articulated spheres and the hinge between its elements are all locked together through the screw placed on it. Then; position the desired angle, and once the joint screw is screwed in, everything locks!

This mount is very sturdy. It sticks to all pipes and you can bend it in (almost) any direction. The material is very durable.

Since the maximum weight is 2 kg, I tested it with my Sony a6000, the smallest mirrorless that this company has ever produced. At first I was having a hard time getting the hang of it, since the kneecaps are a little loose. Then I saw that you have to tighten the nuts very tightly, and I have already managed to stabilize it.

The truth is that I liked it. It is almost entirely made of metal, lightweight, beautiful and practical. The clip is a suitable size to attach to most tripods, and has a rubber coating that gives it better grip and prevents scratches.

The package includes the Magic Arm and a so-called Super Clamp, i.e. a clamp that can be attached to stands or pipes, railings, etc. Additional accessories, such as the Magic Arm, can then be attached to this clamp using a ¼ inch or 3/8 inch thread.

Like the clamp, the Magic Arm is made of high-quality metal (anodized aluminum). The two toggles, which are used to fix, are orange and therefore the two parts look quite good.

By loosening the toggle screw, the two legs of the Magic Arm can be moved and adjusted as well as the two ball heads at the ends of the legs. You must therefore always bear in mind that when you loosen the toggle screw, everything always loosens and be careful accordingly.

I use the Magic Arm and Super Clamp to attach accessories such as microphones, field monitors and video lights to my camera cages or stands. I also use the parts to attach my ActionCam to a tripod or other objects.

The Magic Arm is also intended for this. I wouldn't even think of attaching my camera to it, even with a lightweight lens. The holding force is stated as 2 kg, but I wouldn't try it out.

The Magic Arm is an excellent product and, thanks to the equally high-quality Super Clamp, has even more uses.

The current price of 25.00 euros is reasonable for this product and I would therefore rate the set with 5 stars.

Magic arm designed to be able to attach a whole series of accessories within a photo and video context. Excellent construction, keeps a lot of weight. The hook for stopping the system is sturdy, the clamp for attaching everything is just as strong and is covered with rubber so as not to affect the aluminum of the easel. Product that pleasantly surprised me, I would like to recommend it to all photo and video professionals. It holds up even field monitors without any problem and maintains the inclination and position perfectly. Price ok.

K&F Concept 9.8" Magic Arm with Super Clamp is a very versatile tool and I would call it a third arm for photography. It is engineered to perfection and feels solid and robust. Once you tighten it, it hold a significant amount of weight. I use it for mount off camera flash with a small modifier and I can adjust it to any desirable position.

It has 1/4" 3/8" thread screw with articulating friction Arm which is geared so you can hear the clicking sound. It comes with Cold Shoe Mount for your off camera flash unit as well as LED constant light for video. A separate jaw clamp is also a tool that I use as I can mount any camera equipment or light modifier on tripod or light stand. It has rubber pads hence it doesn't damage the surface it is mount on.

I am delighted with this product and would highly recommend it to photographers.
