For my home office Video Meeting set-up I have a small Godox field monitor as the "Vanity Monitor" so I can see the output direct from my camera. As you can see in the first picture, I had a Super Clamp, a solid arm and a Shoe Mount Tilt Head to affix the litle monitor above my Teleprompter. That was a bit of overkill for this use case, so I ordered this Magic Arm to replace all that. The Clamp portion was wide enough to clamp onto an about-an-inch-and-a-half upright clamped to the desk. The second picture is after the installation of the Magic Arm; much neater. It works just fine, and is actually a bit more maneuverable to place the Monitor exactly right.This bit of grip is well machined, and it tightens down solidly. No problems at all and I would but it again if I needed this smaller size Magic Arm for other applications.

Bought this to marry up with my K&F tripod for the specific purpose of photographing sketches and drawings. With the accompanying phone holder, it fits the task perfectly. You will need to use the remote or timed camera function to ensure steadiness, but all in all a winner.Also, this allows you to have you phone anchored to a tripod the same time as you camera and be able to use both.

We never had these when I was younger. Then again we didn't have cellphones that needed to pair with our digital cameras because we didn't have those either. This thing is slick.

Solid arm for a small usb camera. No issues. A perfect solution to mount usb camera on top of a monitor.
