I received the item free of charge to test, but this does not affect the following review.
The holder can be disassembled into two parts, so I'll look at both of them separately and come up with the resulting trigger of a star later.
The magnetic base is rubberized and makes a very high-quality impression. The magnets are very strong and provide perfect adhesion. I tested it with a GoPro, but also a Sony DSLM with a 28-75mm Tamron lens and it held everything wonderfully, mind you when at rest and not when driving.
The ball head with the mounting plate appears to be made of high-quality plastic, but the ball itself is made of metal. The plate can also be folded down into a mobile phone holder, rather less relevant for me, but still a nice to have. With the thumbscrew, the camera is also easy to lock and the ball head is also firmly tightened with the lateral wing screw. In the second picture, you can see the camera-lens combination weighing around 1.2 kg when tilted and it remained wonderfully in position despite the overhanging lens.
The only reason why I remove a star is the connection between the magnetic plate and the ball head. This works simply by screwing it together (see Figure 3), but is no longer locked. If you mount everything on a metal surface and then try to orient the camera horizontally, you have to be careful not to unscrew both.
If you mount the camera as in picture 1 and the ball head is in the notches, you should pick up the rubber foot when aligning horizontally and turn it with the complete mount, then nothing will come off.
If you pay attention to this one point, you get a good magnetic holder and therefore a clear purchase recommendation from me.

This mount is exactly what you'd expect. Build quality is top notch. It feels solid. Magnet is very strong and is an amazing quick on the fly magnetic stand. I use it for my cell and Osmo action on my car WHEN stationary. Not sure I'd trust it while moving but that's not what it's for. Would highly recommend.

Excellent camera mount from K&F, looks and feels like 'proper' camera equipment in comparison to the cheaper plastic stuff out there. The magnetic strength of the base is again excellent, sticking like the proverbial (on an appropriate piece of metal of course).I'm actually a little surprised at the price, as this is hardly any more expensive than many of the all-plastic versions mentioned above. At a sub-£20 price point you really can't complain for what you're getting here.On a quality/value-for-money basis.... 5-Stars.

Quite impressed by how sturdy this mount is, the ABS plastic feels thick & robust, while the rubberized base plate holds six magnets that firmly latch onto any ferrous metal surface (they could be neodymium but they are simply referred to as “strong magnets” in the listing copy, so who knows...).When tightened down, the ball joint locks solidly, there's no play whatsoever, so you can forget about any movement or drift on the camera. All threads are standard 1/4”-20, which means that the mount (sans magnetic base) can be used with a tripod or any other accessory with a 1/4”-20 stud. This mount offers a lot of versatility, making it a great addition to the gear bag.

The K&F Concept magnetic camera mount for action cams, system cameras and cell phones comes with brief German information from K&F and a bracket including a knurled screw for attaching action cams, etc.
The bracket consists of a lower mounting part including a ball head joint, which are made entirely of metal. The magnetic foot is covered with rubber so that you do not scratch the surface of the object to which you attach the holder.
The ball head is equipped with a mounting plate (made of plastic) for cameras including a ¼ inch screw, which can also be unlocked and set vertically.
The ball head can also be swiveled and rotated very easily and fixed/released quickly with the knurled screw.
An attached action cam or a mobile phone with a separate mobile phone holder holds perfectly with the magnetic base.
You have to try out heavier system cameras yourself. K&F says that you can't hold more than 3kg with dme magnets.
We would therefore just not use such heavy cameras, as a lens also weighs and the weight is increased by any leverage that may occur.
Overall, however, this magnetic holder works very well, is very high-quality and robust and is also very practical. Recommended for this price!

Nice and compact but feels properly solid. The magnet’s no joke, it stuck onto the car bonnet like it had something to prove. The adjustable head is smooth and holds its position well. Comes with adapters for camera and phone, which is handy.Would’ve been five stars but the phone clip could use a bit more padding—it grips tightly but leaves a mark on softer cases. Id also suggest something to pad under the magnet if using on nice paintwork!

As someone who owns several K&F Concept products, from gimbals to bags, I'll freely admit I'm a big fan. That's because when you combine quality with a decent price, you get a great product, and this one is no exception to their usual high standards. For starters when you open the easy to recycle brightly coloured cardboard packaging, there's the aluminium magnetic base which uses Neodymium magnets. Or more precisely N52 magnets which are some of the most powerful magnets on Earth. So the hold on this base is super secure. Plus the non-scratch rubber coating means wherever it's stuck won't get scratched.Moving up is the metal ball mount, which with it's bright orange ball, provides a smooth yet secure 360 degree rotation and up to 90 degree tilt. A mount that can be removed from the base, so and with the built in standard tripod bush it can be used as a normal ball mount. There's even a bush on the opposite side of the gimbal lock, which can be used for a small light or a wireless microphone. On top of that is a plastic grip, which is really cleverly designed to be used in three ways. When flat it'll happily hold anything from a compact camera, camcorder right up to a 3KG SLR with a small lens. When unfolded it'll hold a mobile phone nicely tightly. Or, when using the included handle, it'll accept an action camera.OK sure there's no instructions, but it's so easy to use you don't really need any. Most importantly what you get is a bit of tough compact kit, a bit of kit that's fairly priced and does an excellent job. So I'm more than happy to recommend this one.

I wanted to give this a try since I own a GoPro and X3 camera. It comes with everytjong you need to support not only the aforementioned but a cellphone as well. The rotation ball locks tighly into place to prevent moment and the magnets are strong enough to clam to various metallic surface, although not sure i would just stick it on the top of a car since anything that knocks it hard enough would cause it to come loose.
