Presentation The K&F Concept 55mm UV Filter was supplied in a nice retail style silver cardboard box with a funky design, branded at front and rear and with the size etc displayed on the rear of the box. First Impressions When opened the box contains a semi-transparent plastic case which has the lens filter with lens cap and a microfibre cleaning cloth which is itself sealed in a tear open plastic sleeve and finally a small wrist strap with fastening loop. The package is well presented and the parts all look to be of excellent quality, details of the brand, size and type are all presented on the outside edge of the filter, and the lens cap also has branding. Day To Day Use I replaced an old with slight faint scratches filter on my Nikon camera with the K&F one supplied and the fit is perfect, the threads run easy and it looks every bit the professional piece, whilst the cap is a solid and tight fit to the filter and does the job of protecting it very well. This is my first K&F filter so I did not know what to expect, but this surpassed my expectations with a clear, sharp image and good resolution and I have had no issues with tainting of colours using it. Summing Up Whilst a new filter brand to me, I am very pleased with the lower cost, build quality and neutrality of this K&F filter and will definitely seek out the brand. Recommended.

love K&F photography gear, and when I was in the market for a UV filter, it made sense to check them out. I've previously used a couple of their different filters (ND and Polarising filters) and I've always been impressed with them - this one is no different. You get the same little set that comes with all of their filters - a case, a cloth, a lens cap but the real beauty of these filters is the build quality. They have no right to be as good as they are for the money you're paying. They fit well, they're rugged feeling and they don't produce any weirdness to the image quality - all absolute necessities for a product like this, but you'd be surprised how many of the cheaper brands can get it wrong. If you're looking for a lens filter to keep your lens nice and safe, then you could do a lot worse than this one.

While I can’t measure whether this filter is reducing the UV content entering the lens I can say that it is clear does not decrease the light passing through it as the camera exposure values don’t change with or without the filter fitted, is well made and a reasonable price. So I’m happy with this product and would buy it again.

Had to replace a missing 72mm lens cap on my lens. Has handy 72mm UV filter and matching fitted lens cap along with a bonus cord to keep cap with the lens (not in your pocket or left sitting somewhere) and a lens cloth. Black to match my lens and easy to remove and install.

was very pleasantly surprised that the product worked exactly as described. I always carry it with me, just like my camera, and use it almost daily. And instead of buying multiple D-filters with different strengths, it's better to get this one, which can be adjusted individually. Absolutely recommend it.

have plenty of lenses and most have 77m filters on them. But there are a couple that evaded protection as I believe less is better. Anyway I thought I would give the K&F a try. Overall and first impressions are generally good. The filter comes well protected in a stiff nylon case. This does not have any recycling marks on it and experience tells me that once a filter is on a lens it stays there. So a black mark there for recyclability. Back to good points, the lens mount is matt black, the best example I have ever seen, very 'lumpy' and glare resistant. The thread is excellently cut with no sharp or rough edges. The outer rim is ribbed in several places making the filter easy to grip should you ever need to remove it. The mount is exceptionally shallow which again is a plus point minimising the risk of unwanted vignetting. I couldn't detect any deterioration in optical quality or increased flaring from the glass. Unusually the filter arrives with a lens cap, this is a copy of the Nikon 'pinch' design but the Nikon one works better. A fine piece of kit.
