The adapter is okay, but the diffusion filter is really good!

May need to fiddle with auto-focus on your phone's camera, but this is a decent clip-on kit with a removable diffusion filter. The clip itself is rubber-padded plastic, the filter rim is metal, presumably aluminum. Complete with a carry case and cleaning cloth.A slight misty effect on the lighting, softer contrast, things you might want without breaking your bank with a DSLR camera and specialized filters.Just about all my filters have metal rims, and the filter in this kit is no exception, so I kind of wish the clip was also metal as well, to avoid de-threading on the clip, which will happen eventually due to the material strength difference. The clip has padding in all the right places to avoid direct contact on the phone anyway, so there's no real excuse aside from cost.Design-wise, I also feel it could have done just a little better, making the back-side of the clip shorter so that it doesn't cover up the phone screen so much. As it is designed right now, moving that side to the edge as possible also moves the whole filter close to the camera lens and can show up on the photo edges.The one major selling point of this clip is, though, that it's a generic shape and not specific to any one phone. So it can work on an iPhone, a Samsung, ... or a Xiaomi with its round camera area. And all for a very affordable price-point, making this product a strong performer.

I'm by no means a pro photographer but I got this to help with my Instagram doll photography & so far I have no complaints. It is very easy to just clip on over your phone's camera lens, it works well with both my iPhone 11 & iPhone 15 Plus models. It seems to just slightly diffuse extra light & really softens any glares or harsh tones. It even comes with a hard carrying case for it so you can throw it in your pocket or purse without worrying about it getting scratched or otherwise ruined. Overall it's a good investment & I would recommend it.

One of the most important things for me is that this filter kit works without taking my phone out of the Otter Box, and that's really important to me. The lens holder fits over the case without feeling like it's going to slip off. It fits tight up against my phone's cameras, so it won't cause any glare or image distortion. I can use the standard filters that my camera uses in this kit, although it does come with a regular filter. I was hoping I could use my new variable neutral density filter with it, and it fits fine. It's a very good filter for a start. The material is plastic although it works well and is resistant.
