This camera strap mount is exactly as shown in the product photos and the parts are all good quality. It is very easy to use this to attach a camera to pretty much any shoulder strap IF the strap is big enough. There are three main pieces: a sleeve that wraps around the shoulder strap of your backpack; a rotating adapter that is permanently attached to the sleeve; and a camera mount that attaches to the camera and clips into the rotating adapter. At this point you can rotate the camera to square up the framing. Easy.
About the sleeve. The sleeve is made so it’s kinda square when opened up and has velco on two edges. Roll it into a circle so that the Velcro edges connect and it turns into a tube. As such, you can wrap it around a shoulder strap and connect the Velcro ends. The interior of the tube is a rubberized material that does not want to allow slippage. That’s where the problem comes in. The sleeve has to be tight on the shoulder strap because otherwise it will slip downward. So good luck if your shoulder strap is a one or two inch piece of webbing.
I think I’ll add another strip of Velcro so that I can Velcro the sleeve to the shoulder strap. Yeah, the strap will also need some Velcro. All the Velcro needs to do is keep the tube from sliding. Luckily, I’m already kitted for this because most of my gear is molle.

I needed something to mount my GoPro to while out with my backpack. I have a hanging neck mount and a chest mount, but wanted something a bit simpler to attach to my backpack. The K&F Concept Backpack Belt Shoulder Strap Mount is almost perfect for my needs. It attaches easily to the backpack shoulder straps, but it does tend to slide down while walking. I fixed this by adding some hook and loop tape to the outside of my backpack straps and the inside of the K&F mount. This combination is perfect for me! I give this product a 4 star rating as a 5 star product would have had some sort of no-slip solution included with the product. I'm pleased with my backpack shoulder strap mount with my no-slip addition.

The K&F Concept backpack shoulder strap mount is a fantastic accessory for action camera enthusiasts. The Velcro fastener ensures a firm hold on the shoulder strap, and the 360° rotation function enables flexible camera angles - perfect for dynamic shots when hiking, cycling or other outdoor activities.
The mount is robustly made and installation is child's play. The wide compatibility with models such as GoPro Hero 13/12/11 and DJI Osmo Action is particularly great - a real all-rounder! Despite the firm fixation, the mount remains light and comfortable to wear.
A well-thought-out accessory that enhances every outdoor tour. Clear recommendation for adventurers and content creators

You can attach the holder anywhere you have a strap, for example on your backpack. You just have to make sure that the camera doesn't slip.

I use this backpack strap holder on a LowePro photo backpack with an action cam that weighs around 200 g. So it weighs about as much as a smartphone, for which a mount is also included.
It is also rubberized on all three sides that come into contact with the smartphone, which is good.
I am not convinced by the spring clamping, because with my relatively large (i.e. wide) smartphone (Samsung Ultra) I have to pull the spring apart quite a bit and that is much too tight for me.
The inside is rubberized so that the mount does not slip so quickly.
"Not so quickly" is meant literally. If I attach this mount anywhere on the backpack strap, I don't have to worry about this mount coming loose accidentally, but if you are actively out and about (over hill and dale), it does slip down a bit.
This can be prevented by attaching this mount exactly above the chest strap, as I did on my Flipside. This then reliably prevents it from slipping. This means that the camera is roughly at shoulder height.
If that works, this mount is a good recommendation.
If you really want to attach your camera to virtually any place on your backpack strap, you should go for a (metal) clamp, although good clamps are more expensive than this item.
This mount could work better with lighter action cams like GoPro than with relatively large smartphones or an Insta 360. Although the latter does produce good videos at shoulder height with this mount.

I've had quite a lot of K&F stuff over the years and always been happy with it (their filters are great and I like their tripods).
This is a solid offering and great for mounting your action cam (or phone) onto a backpack strap for POV style video.
The nice thing about it is the ability to rotate so you can have your action cam oriented vertically or horizontally. The included phone mount is a nice touch too.
The reason I've given 4 stars though is that the material that the plastic mount is on (and actually the plastic mount itself) is not of the quality I normally associate with K&F.
It's not that it doesn't do the job - it does. It's just not as refined as the normal standard you get from them and ignoring the brand name for a moment I'd only consider this a 4 star item.
So as I said, decent without being premium. It will do the job for you, but I think there are higher quality alternatives out there (and of course they may cost more).
