This worked out great for the eclipse. Only wish i could use it more. Fits great in my Tamron Lenses.

I got this filter and it took me a bit of experimentation to make it work. First, it is important to remember that this filter is for shooting the sun and it is exceptionally dark (which is good because the sun is exceptionally bright). I put the filter on the camera (A Canon EOS T3I with a 250 mm image-stabilized telephoto lens) and could see nothing until I was able to find the sun in a totally black field of view. I took the picture, looked at it on my computer and saw a white circle on a black field. As I thought about this, I realized that the automatic systems were being overwhelmed with so much black and a small very bright object in the center. I shifted the camera to manual and after much experimentation, found that setting the F-Stop to 10 and the shutter speed to 1/400 produced an image where I could see details such as sunspots on the face of the sun. When you get it to this point, it is an exceptional product but it is not something you can just slap on a camera and get the desired results.

I purchase this filter directly from K&F's web site - which instructed me to select priority shipping if I wanted to receive it prior to the recent eclipse. No problem. However, a few days before the event, I received a message from K&F that it would be delivered several hours AFTER the eclipse was over. Instead I ordered it from Amazon and it was delivered on time. While I was not able to obtain any useful photos from my Nikon D7500 using this filter on a Nikon 55-300 lens, I admit that it may be due to user error.
UPDATE: I was contacted by K&F Customer Support, who kindly resolved the issue for me. I found the representatives that I interacted with to be professional, generous, and absolutely dedicated to making certain that I was a happy customer.

This Lense worked really well. the bag photos were due to the photographer's inability to understand the fancy camera.

I bought this ND filter so I could photograph the Eclipse on 04.08.2024. It worked great.

This was a nice addition to my ND filter bag. I like that I screwed on to my lens, and the little case it came with is top notch. It worked great for imaging the solar eclipse and was a lot nicer than a plastic sheet taped to my lens. Not sure where the whole landscape photography came from, this is VERY dark and you will only see the sun or a super bright light through it. ND100,000 is not for landscape photography lol
