This filter is really dark as the 20 stops in the description say. I pointed my camera directly into the sun with this filter on and took some photos till the sun was gone. A couple to times. What a terrific lens filter. Just like all the K&F products I have bought.

The 77mm threads on this lens filter fit onto my Nikon P1000 camera. If I had tried to shoot sunspots without a filter, I would have seen a blurry ball just before it destroyed my camera's sensor. With this neutral-density 1,000,000 ultra dark lens filter, I see the sun and its sunspots clearly. Great value for the price.

I had a Celestron solar filter which had an orange tint and did not let me take sharp pictures. Bought this and finally I got color neutral sharp pictures. Attached example taken with a Fuji APS-C 26Mpix sensor with a 300mm lens and 1.4x teleconverter (630mm equivalent)

Worked great for photographs leading up to the eclipse. No filter used during totality.

I got this filter for the eclipse. I used a Canon M-50 Mk II with a 55-200mm lens, and I practiced with it some a few days before the big event. I learned to set the aperture as small as possible with the shutter speed as high as possible. I got a sunspot one day and the "Cheshire Cat" phase of the eclipse a few days later.

I didn't expect much at such a low price, but this filter is perfect! Would not spend any more on the more expensive brands. This thing was everything I needed! Everyone loves the shots I got!

I needed something great for the solar eclipse that happened back in April, and after much research came across this filter! It had all the bells and whistles at a more reasonable price. Very easy to put on and take off. The color it gave for the sun was perfect, not distorted in any way. Best in class!

For the price the quality is amazing. The 77mm worked well with my Sony 70-200 gmii. Easy to put on. Was able to capture the solar eclipse nicely.
