The tripod matches the description. It’s great for a phone (a bit tight for large ones though, like iPhone 14 Pro Max that is on the photo, but it’s still manageable ). It holds a full size camera pretty sturdy. The tripod’s head rotates in three planes, so you can shoot in portrait and landscape. It’s center piece can be pulled up quite a bit, but the tripod is not very steady if you do so. The absence of some kind of a quick-mount plate for a full size camera is a bummer, but the tripod is relevantly cheap and is not meant for professionals, so it’s ok. The remote works only with phones. It would be a great benefit to be able to connect it to a full camera as well, but, as I said, it’s not meant for professional photographers, so you can get around it using the camera built-in timer. It’s not very large when fully closed compared to its maximum height. You can put it in a large backpack. I guess you could find something even more portable for travelling, like “Peak Deaign” travel tripod, but it’s 400€ and has similar minimum dimensions.
So, I guess, it’s a pretty good tripod for its price, and it is 40cm unlike almost all its competitors with 50cm minimum length. It’s great for an occasional landscape photo or taking photo of yourself (or everyone in your group at once), or for shooting a video of you by yourself.

Very light weight and portable. Seems sturdy enough. I use it with an Xbot Go for broadcasting on Game Changer and it serves its purpose.

Bought this for my son. He loves it! It folds down small so it’s easy to carry. It’s also tall enough for him to use while standing. He has some heavy lenses and we’ve not had any issues with it shifting or drooping.

My quest for a super lightweight and highly versatile tripod led me to the K&F CONCEPT B174A1 Travel Tripod with Bluetooth Remote for Camera Smartphone, and it has exceeded my expectations.
Weighing just a little over 1 1/2 pounds, this aluminum and plastic tripod is exceptionally well constructed. Its compact design folds down to a mere 17 inches, making it incredibly easy to store in a vehicle or attach to a backpack for impromptu adventures. Unlocking the tripod legs allows for extension up to 60 inches, providing the perfect height for my video assessments.
The head of the tripod is ingeniously designed, featuring an expandable compression spring clamp (4.3” to 6.8”) for smartphones and a cold shoe for conventional cameras. The 3-way directional axis pan head offers smooth 360° horizontal rotation and adjustable tilt angles, ensuring a full field of imagery.
A thoughtful addition is the miniature dot-level on the upper surface, helping to ensure a leveled-out tripod for perfectly framed shots. The green circular level with a tiny bead is a small detail that makes a big difference.
The product also includes a camera remote shutter control fob and a convenient soft carrying bag for storing the tripod and remote.
While lightweight tripods inevitably come with trade-offs, such as potentially less stability in the field, this tripod performs admirably for most assignments. For added stability, I found solutions like an aftermarket center-mounted counterweight or a suspended sand/rock bag to be effective.
