I went with a stronger diffusion because the 1/8 you couldn’t tell much so def go with this one or higher. At night or really well lit places you can definitely tell the diffusion works great and softens up the image if you want a dreamy look. Def would get especially for the price I put this and stack an nd filter when needed and works great.

If you want to NOTICE the bloom, go to the 1/4 strength. This is a lighter, less noticeable change.
Pretty light effect here, which I appreciate. I'm not personally huge on the super hazy highlights, so this is perfect for getting the most minor amount of extra "bloom", or in my case for cutting out a bit of sharpness on some of the newer lenses these days. I've also got a 1/4 strength of this same brand/series in a couple sizes, also a great little filter, and a more noticeable amount of bloom.

These filters are built great, I have had no problems with them. The 1/4 does seem a bit strong, stronger than the Tiffen 1/4 BPM. The 1/8 is perfect for everyday use, but the 1/4 can seem too much at times. The Tiffen 1/4 is a good step in between the K&F filters.

Black diffusion mist filters can reduce contrast, soften highlight flares, and give the image and video a more cinematic feel.

I really like these filters they add just a little bit of organic vibe to your photos and video, without making dramatic changes. It just adds a touch of smoothing magic making your content look a little bit more film like, organic, and real without adding any obvious effect or reducing image sharpness. It also offers some dirt and fingerprint protection for your expensive lens.

If you're looking at this product, it's because you either: A. Saw a post on IG on how dreamy photos can look with a black-mist filter; or B. You saw the price of the other black-mist filter and realized you too aren't made of money.
This does what it needs to do. I mainly use the 1/4th because I like that extra dramatic touch and love my lights/highlights blooming so it's less work for me in post. The glass doesn't feature the same "premium coating" like its pricier counterpart, but who cares? For the price of this with TWO filters, it's an easy deal for me.

I have not used them in the wild yet, but I tried a few shots here at home. They look great and are easy to add on to my fujix100v.

Was looking for a filter for my Camera to soften the light just a hair. This worked wonders. Threaded onto all of my adapters for use on different lenses and holds up well to dirt and grime. I personally put some ceramic coating on the glass to help with water repellant as I like to shoot in the rain. Would buy from this company again.
