The microscope feels high quality, comes with many cool attachments for helping to grab pictures using our cell phones, and the stprage/carrying case is perfect to keep everything clean and dust free.

My one and only complaint is the power cord location. The power cord cable doesn't insert all of the way and the location is directly in front of the viewer (Strange location). If you tell me that the microscope should be turned around 180 degrees then the viewing eye pieces would have to be disconnected and spun around and all the controls would be on the back - which further leads me to believe that the power connection is in a strange location for sure.

Oh, and I almost forgot, the screws that hold the slides were falling out when we received the package. A little locktite would probably have fixed that issue.

Other than the location of power, the microscope is great, and the whole kit comes with extra eye pieces (2 at 10x and 2 at 25x), some test pieces on slides, cleaning cloth, and lots of other cool stuff.

On our farm we use this microscope to identify ticks and bugs on our plants. We have also used a tint to see if if sperm has swimmers or not.

We also have children and this is a wonderful tool to show them the things that cannot be seen with the naked eye.

Useful and easy to operate

This is a great microscope but it was very apparent someone had returned it after using it- the stage was dirty, lenses were dirty and had debris in places we could not clean which was affecting our view of slides. Very unfortunate to pay 250.00 and receive an opened box item.

This is a really solid microscope especially for one without an electrical eyepiece. I like the case a lot as it makes for easy safe storage. I also like the wide range of magnifications that this microscope has to offer. It's a really solid microscope for someone looking for a beginner level piece or maybe someone who is just in it for the hobby.

This microscope is a fantastic tool for both hobbyists and professionals, even kids. The huge magnification range provides incredible detail. The dual mechanical stage makes it easy to precisely position samples, and it comes with sample slides ready to go. It's a well-built and versatile microscope that's perfect for a wide range of applications.

I got this just for checking stool samples on farm animals for worms. The microscope works as it should, and is pretty easy to see . It doesnt get much use here, but its great to have around when needed.

High quality microscopes can be quite expensive. I like that this is adequate for a very reasonable price. I like the accessories it comes with. I like that it includes some prepared specimens. Though it would seem that you can just load and view, to avoid disappointment, I recommend watching videos on how to use and prepare specimens properly. The cell phone holder option is very helpful. Looking through the eyepiece with the naked eye causes eye floaters to obscure the view. Using a phone prevents that which is something watching videos on using a microscope properly tells you. I would have prefered the attachment for seeing on a separate screen was a piece that would go in the eyepiece so I could use a tablet instead of a smaller screen cellphone
