I am not a lab geek, so definitely not an expert. The unit is as advertised and nicely made. I wish holder plate had a device that allowed movement, but not a big problem.

Great entry-level microscope for kids. With lots of slides to practice on. The scope is lightweight but fairly sturdy.

This microscope was exactly what I needed. Using it to check cell types on birds to see if they have bacteria infections.
