My only problem was the battery wouldnt make contact to turn on unless I didn't use the ring that holds the wristband other than that it works fine, and even better if you want it to work just as well as the expensive garret model just wrap a piece of metal by the light and it will double the detection area

Unless you are right on top of the object it doesn’t detect.

I got this to go along with a full sized metal detector.It's good for when I dig out metal scrape in the ground (rusty nails) or when I look for a knife or piece of metal in the tall grass.Great for light hikes and attaches to belt easy.
