Bought filters for all my lenses. Dropped one lens with a filter on it. The filter broke but the lens was not damaged. I highly recommend filter to protect the lens.

Super nice quality for the price! I've used UV filters from lots of brands and these perform equally as well as the high priced brands.

Got to protect that expensive glass! Having a UV filter on every lens in your kit offers more protection for your lenses! Better to replace a UV filter rather than having a lens repaired.

Some photographers will say that UV filters are a waste of money but I'm not willing to test that theory. I recently made a trip to the Pacific Northwest and while on the beaches of Olympic Park I had a freak accident. While taking pictures, on a particularly windy day, a way crashed against the rocks I was standing next to. Enough of the small rocks kick up and hit the lens squarely. The UV filter spider web with a perfectly small rock size dent in the middle of it. The underlying lens was perfectly fine! I don't know if the lens would have been fine without this UV filter on it or not. But with a $2k lens, I'm glad I didn't have to test that theory.

I really fell in love with K&F lens filters. I don't use my lens covers and just rely on using these UV filters as protection for my camera lenses.
