Good quality product, excellent value for money

I got this to work ok after having some initial connection problems. You can't turn on the app first then try to connect to the phone in any way. Apparently the only way to connect is by plugging the USB cable into the phone, with the app turned off, and then you turn on the borescope, which then auto-launches the app. Sigh. The manufacturer would do well to work on the app. It currently carries a 2.2 rating on the Play Store.

Other than the app being very picky how you work it, it works ok and image quality is pretty good. Love that it articulates back and forth, wish it articulated on 2 axis though. For the price, it's a really good deal so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. 4 stars.

This is a decent borescope, functions admirably with point of interaction to the IPhone. Simple to utilize and the turning camera head is a distinct advantage for inward motor reviews. I'm an auto tech and this degree is as great while possibly worse than the huge apparatus truck brands. Just issue I've had is it will free association sometimes while utilizing it with my iPhone however that is not regularly. The directions are great. Got the application downloaded and the extension charged. It works immaculately. Accompanies every one of the harmonies required however no charger block. You'll require your own for that. Any modest one ought to work. It doesn't uphold quick charging so squander no cash on one of those. The degree moves around perfect and has controls on the handle to record a video, snap a photo as well as change brilliance of the drove. I wish I had purchased this first as opposed to burn through my experience with less expensive cameras.

Assembling this takes ten seconds. You just screw the screen part into the handle. You do have to disassemble it to put it back in the case. That also takes 10 seconds, so it's no big deal.

The picture quality looks like I somehow managed to shove a smartphone inside the cylinder of an engine. The joystick articulation actually works quite well, and is a whole lot nicer than trying to ram the end of the scope against the wall of something to get it to bend. That's not even always an option, considering you often don't want to damage whatever it is you are looking at. With this, you just center it as best you can, and then toggle the joystick in the direction you want to look. It's a little weird to use, but it works quite well.

I've had the camera end completely submerged in water and it didn't miss a beat. I haven't attempted to stick it anywhere that is too hot, so I haven't tested the auto shutoff feature. The battery lasts basically forever. I played around with it for hours and it still had plenty of battery life left.

I mainly got this borescope to find the pipe that was leaking inside my wall, the scope is easy to setup and to use, the picture and video quality are pretty decent, your cellphone attaches to a holder on the scopes handle with a USB cable that plugs into the scopes handle and into your cellphone, then via the app your cellphone becomes your viewing screen, the app is pretty basic and let's you record video or take pictures and then it saves them to an album on your cellphone, the 10 LED lights on the camera worked really well at lighting up the inside of the wall, I was able to see the pipes pretty clearly (and found the leak) the camera angle can be adjusted with the wheel on the handle of the scope, so I was able to see a good sized section inside the wall without having to move the scope to a different section of the wall, the only negative thing I have experienced with this borescope is that when you put the camera down a drain pipe the video quality gets really blurry when the camera goes under water. The scope came with a nice foam fitted hard plastic case to store everything in as well as several different USB cables for different phones, all in all I think this is a decent borescope for use around the house and for the price point in my opinion it's a pretty good value.

It's a pity I didn't release the camera lens protection accessory, but in the end I tried it and it's useful for many things... I recommend it Useful

Easy to use, sharp picture.

I can't say enough about how awesome this articulating borescope is. First you have the handle with built in joystick for controlling the articulation. Thr borescope has very good lighting built into the tip. You can record or take pictures with a trigger and you can also turn the light to 3 different levels. This scope is really flexible and can turn completely around allowing you to look back the direction you came from. You can really point the scope in any direction once introduced to the bore. It is a little tricky getting the hang of pointing the scope where you want but you'll get the hang of it very quickly. This unit also cones with a nice carrying case. I'm super super happy with this unit which will allow me to do more advanced diagnostics.

Excellent product, quality and really honest price. I have used it on several jobs and it has always done its job very well. I definitely recommend it. Fast and reliable seller.
