Useful tool for small inspections behind furniture, in appliances or small spaces, but completely ineffective in terms of image quality and ease of use for spot checks in pipes, chimneys, etc. Decent image quality but difficult to focus.

Excellent, does its job, robust but I recommend a plastic film for the display... record, photograph, works very well, nothing to say... great price.

So like you, I went cheap and originally bought a $100 borescope that had a 2-way articulating function. NO THANKS! Since it was impossible to control the direction of the articulation (other than left/right), it became impossible to get those units to look at what you actually wanted to look at. Enter this 4-say borescope, VIOLA! Now I simply rotate the stick to see precisely where I want to see, regardless of what angle the snake enters into a hole or crevice! Brilliant!

I was skeptical on purchasing this product. But in all honesty it’s a great product works perfectly and has a great image quality. The 360 free movement works perfectly and is a great feature.

Takes great pictures, gets inside of a heat exchanger and let's you articulate 180 to see the complete picture inside. Very clear high quality pictures so a customer can see exactly what's going on. Screens large enough that I can invite the homeowner to watch the live view and they see their equipment on the screen before going in the tubes so they get that assurance that it's theirs not some recording where you're trying to scam them. The pictures are crystal clear so even an amateur can diagnose a failure which means the homeowner usually says "there's a hole" before we have to deliver that bad news to them. Great tool for the money. Especially with the $100 coupon

I got this borescope as an upgrade to a cheapy scope that plugged into my phone. Having a dedicated scope that can articulate saved me from fully opening a wall when there was a snafu.

My house is from the seventies, and we still have lots of plumbing pieces from the original build. When the overflow drain on one of the kids tub partially crumbled into dust I had to tell the family to be careful to not overfill the tub until we replaced everything. You can probably tell where this is going...

Last night after cleaning up the yard from the summer play I heard the bathtub filling and went in to find the tub filled all the way to the overflow valve. I shut it off quickly and opened the main drain. Panic set in.

I opened this inspection camera for the first time, drilled a 1/4" hole on the other side of the wall from the overflow drain and took a look down into the wall to see what the damage was. With one 1/4" hole I was able to scoot around under the tub, the busted drain assembly and the pipes and 2x4s and found that I had gotten to the whole situation just in time. There was no water anywhere. The articulating tip allowed me to look at everything from multiple angles.

Having this inspection camera at the ready saved me from cutting a big access hole in my wife's closet when I wasn't prepared for that amount of work or mess. If the wall had been full of water I could have handled it, but it was nice to have the peace of mind that I didn't need to do anything drastic.

For tight spaces and horizontal pipe this is great.

I tested it out in my duct work. That can be challenging as the snake is so flexible that keeping it running straight is difficult. The articulating end certainly helps though. For tasks like that I'll be adding taping some wire to it or using some other method to keep it more rigid.

I don't see anything ad stating this is good for duct work so none of that is a negative. For automotive work or pipe inspection I can think of no issues with this to limit it's use and give it anything but excellent results.

Great product. Great value.

This is probably my fourth borescope and the first one I've tried that actually had good video quality and was actually usable. I like that the tip/camera can be rotated using the knob on the camera handle. The borescope is charged using a usb c port and it can hold a micro sd card (TF card). You can record video or take pictures and save it to the micro sd card and replay it on the borescope screen. The length of the cable is a shorter than I like (~3.4 ft), but it should suffice for a majority of my needs. It will suck when I come across a need for a longer cable though.

Just got it today. Tried it right away and it looks fantastic. Haven t tried it in a pipe, or cylinder or some like that yet but seems to be working so far.
