Adds that small amount of glow to your shots that gives you that small dream-like feel. Also makes it super easy in post to add extra glow. (First photo is edited, other 3 are straight from the camera)

This is the 1/2 grade black diffusion filter from K&F Concept K series (Nano-K).

The 55mm circular filter is very light in weight but the aluminum is machined so that the rim fits perfect and solidly. I was able to twist this onto the front of my Sony AX-53 video camcorder smoothly. This is a nice filter with low reflection and anti-glaring. I have no vignetting and it gives a softer edged "cinematic" effect to shots.

It comes in a nice plastic, protective case and they include three microfiber cleaning cloths. This is a great addition to a photography toolkit that achieves a softer cinematic effect.

If you're on a budget and want the Black Pro Mist (by Tiffen), this is a great, budget-friendly alternative for you. Everything K&F makes is budget friendly and high quality, and I have many of their camera lens filters. This one gives you a softer, dreamier effect.

I really like these filters they add just a little bit of organic vibe to your photos and video, without making dramatic changes. It just adds a touch of smoothing magic making your content look a little bit more film like, organic, and real without adding any obvious effect or reducing image sharpness. It also offers some dirt and fingerprint protection for your expensive lens.

recently stumbled upon the K&F Concept Nano-K Black Mist 1/4 Strength camera filter, and I can't contain my excitement. It's been a total game-changer for my photos and videos, and here's the kicker – it's incredibly affordable. Cinematic Vibes on a Budget: The 1/4 strength setting adds this subtle bloomy effect to highlights, giving that cinematic touch without going overboard. What's really impressive is that it won't break the bank – a real win compared to other black-mist filters. A little bit of flaring, but not a problem for me. Solid Build, Affordable Price: Considering the price, the build is pretty good. I've used other K&F products like their tripod and camera bags, and they've all held up remarkably well. My K&F tripod is a trooper, 6 years old and still kicking. This filter follows suit – a sturdy metal ring and packaging that won't cost you an arm and a leg. Doubled Down on Value: I got a second filter for my other camera, and it's working great on both. For the price, it's become a high-value addition to my gear. Video Brilliance on a Budget: For videos, it's been a game-changer, especially considering how affordable it is. Adding lights to the background gives my videos a professional touch without burning a hole in my pocket. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a budget-friendly filter that adds a subtle touch of magic to your photos and videos, the K&F Concept Nano-K Black Mist 1/4 Strength is worth checking out.

The effect from using a black diffusion filter can be quite beautiful in the right circumstances. This filter provides that at a great price without sacrificing built quality.

This is a review for the K&F Concept 49mm Black Diffusion 1 Filter Mist Cinematic Effect Filter: Pleasantly surprised at the value of the filter - gives everything that dreamy bloom without losing much contrast. It's not nearly as targeted as glimmer glass or the like, as this seems to add that haze to all values, but I very much dig the look and the ease on the wallet. It's a simple and effective way to de-rez your image if you're looking for a bit more character, but be advise, the effect even on Diffusion 1 is significant enough that folks will definitely know something is going on (i.e. it's not subtle). The reference images on the page do a good job of showing what it looks like. Would recommend if that's the look you're going for!
