keep one of these filters on each of my lenses. They add a very subtle mist effect that helps disguise highlights and shadows ever so slightly. It adds a slight film effect to your footage or photos that I used to add in post using presets but this makes it so I can do less editing.

Very good build quality and amazing results with this filter. I have few Tiffen Pro Mist filters that are 2 or 3 times more expensive and I couldn't notice any image quality difference from K&F and Tiffen.

Came packaged well and the cloths included is a nice touch. Great to have for the price. One thing to keep in mind is that the effect of the filter will be stronger or weaker depending on the focal length of the lens. Does the job and threads on well. Seems like it will last.

Sure, there are better black mist filters (even from the same manufacturer), but for me, the effect is more of a nice gimmick and not something I'll leave on my lens permanently.

I wasn't initially that satisfied with the CPL filter from K&F Concept, quite the opposite of this crappy filter. When you put it on, you can immediately see the effect the filter has; in some places, I found it almost a bit too strong. So, I wasn't disappointed; quite the opposite. Perhaps I should have believed the product images for once and bought a weaker filter.

Great quality on a budget. I have used quite a few different K&F filters over the years and they've all been good. Personally I couldn't really tell the difference between the Shimmer 1, Black Mist 1/8, and Black Mist 1/4 so I just kept the Shimmer for now. I will probably go back for the combo Black Mist 1/4 + CPL some day to keep on my other lens for automotive photography.
