The face tracking cam comes with a user manual and a USB C cable. The tracking tripod is very well made and it feels very high quality. The application is really simple, all you have to do is place your mobile phone or tablet in the slot, whether portrait or landscape. Then the screw must be tightened at the back so that the end device does not fall down. The power button is pressed for 3 seconds and the device turns on. There is an LED on the front and when the device is switched on, it lights up blue, so that no tracking is active yet. For this you have to make the OK sign with your hand and then the LED jumps to green and the tracking starts. I'm really pleasantly surprised how well it works. Even with fast movements, the tripod follows very well. To stop the tracking you just have to hold out your hand and the whole thing stops. My 3-year-old daughter also tried it and it works perfectly for her too, she likes to run back and forth when she's doing face time with grandma and she's usually out of the picture, but here she's always in the picture and The little one likes that too, she literally plays with the tracking tripod. Before, she always wanted to hold the cell phone herself, but that is now a thing of the past with this tripod. So it also had another positive effect. I am really enthusiastic about this tracking tripod and give it 5/5 stars.

In the course of the increasing videofication of the Internet, i.e. moving away from static images to small, short videos, more and more everyday problems such as "Why can't I have both hands free when I want to move in the video" come to light. If you have a partner, colleague, employee, ... (* this always means all genders, but writing out the review would have been too long :) who takes over the camera work, that's a great thing. But on the one hand not everyone has it and on the other hand it is not really necessary for many videos that you could shoot yourself without any problems except with your free hands. A face tracking tripod like that from K&F Concept is an ideal tool if you are e.g .moves relatively slowly sideways behind a counter during a cooking video or has to change position during a workout video. It is very advantageous that the tracking can be activated and deactivated again using gestures directly in the device's camera. So you don't have to walk back and forth to the device or call up an app on another cell phone to activate/deactivate the tracking. The face recognition works reliably and easily follows the target person both horizontally and vertically in the respective area (0 to 355° horizontally and 0 to 30° vertically). However, you must not move too quickly, otherwise the camera loses its aim and stops. However, the manufacturer writes directly on the product page that no fast objects can be detected. The mobile phone or tablet is held in place by means of a screw cap with small silicone buffers on the inside. With a mobile phone, I wouldn't have any concerns about hanging the tracking tripod upside down somewhere, but with a tablet it's more likely because the gripping force of the holding device may not be sufficient.

Here you basically get an automatic cameraman. The whole thing works absolutely simply and even without an app or special settings on the mobile phone. It is enough to simply place the mobile phone horizontally or vertically in the tripod and fix it with the clamping screw. Face recognition works via the tripod's own camera. This camera also recognizes the gestures to start and stop tracking. The OK gesture is used to start and the flat hand to stop. It's as simple as that. Gestures are recognized well in good lighting conditions. Tracking works fine. Something I'm personally missing is a tracking speed setting. It's quite quick. For video calls OK or whatever, but for recording clips where you explain something it would be nice if you could set a smooth tracking. But the operation is kept simple and can be used immediately by anyone without prior knowledge or training time. The tripod works best when the camera is slightly higher. Just laying it flat on my desk cuts off my head in half. You have to try something and use a camera tripod if necessary, which is not a problem thanks to the existing thread on the underside.

The face tracking tripod is suitable for smartphones and tablets. I tested it with my iPhone 13 Pro Max and my iPad. This is ideal for video calls (FaceTime, WhatsApp, Teams, etc.), as well as for video recordings for presentations, TikTok, instructions and much more. The face tracking tripod is delivered in secure packaging, consisting of the actual tripod, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable (without power supply unit) and a short user manual. The tripod itself includes a camera for face tracking and gesture control. On the front there is a button for switching on and off. The USB-C charging socket is located on the back. On the top is the holder for the smartphone or tablet. Both are easy to insert and are secured with a set screw. The recess is large enough to accommodate the smartphone even with a protective cover. On the underside there is a standard screw connection for any standard tripod. The tripod looks very high quality and is completely glossy white. The camera is integrated in a silver box. The tripod is equipped with a 2,000 mAh battery. Once it is fully charged, it should guarantee 10 hours of operation according to the manufacturer. The charging status as well as the operation is displayed via an LED. For example, if face tracking is active, the LED changes from blue to green. Once the tripod is turned on, it can rotate 360 degrees horizontally and 30 degrees vertically. A total of two gestures are available, which are recognized automatically. The first gesture turns face tracking on and the second gesture turns face tracking off. In my test with Facetime, the face tracking worked absolutely reliably and without any time delay. Every head movement was reliably tracked horizontally and vertically. Overall, this tripod makes a very high-quality impression, is very well made and offers safe and reliable functionality. In my opinion, price and performance are 100% right. For me it was the first time that I had such a tool in my hands and tested it and it convinced me and I was thrilled. So from my side a clear recommendation with 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because all the important criteria are met for me. You can move freely and the camera follows you automatically and reliably.

The "Face Tracking Tripod" or the tracking phone holder from K&F Concept is a very special device... Thanks to the simple clamping mechanism, you only have to insert the smartphone or tablet (see product description for maximum dimensions) and turn the handle at the back until it stands firm enough. The tracking phone holder is then activated with a button and can be controlled by gestures. The holder then simply follows a person and you can simply take video recordings of yourself with movement, also practical for video calls etc. I find it practical that you don't need any app or settings on your smartphone or tablet and it all works directly. Very easy and the tracking seems reliable to me so far. The control gestures were mostly recognized immediately as long as it wasn't too dark. Anchoring: You can set up the tracking phone holder on a flat surface or, thanks to the tripod thread on the underside, screw it onto table tripods or really large tripods if you want to place it flexibly in the room. Charging: A modern charging connection type USB C is available! Good. The supplied charging cable still has the well-known standard USB plug type A at the other end. Conclusion: If you are looking for the simplest possible solution for filming yourself while you are moving, you will find an interesting option here. Above all, it can be used immediately without installing an app and without any setup. You just have to remember the 2 gestures and you're good to go... The tracking also seems good enough to me for many purposes, even slightly faster movement. The battery life seems very good so far. You can probably only get more with real smartphone gimbals (stabilizers), which you can carry by the handle, but can also usually be used on tripods - but they need apps, then you can also set up reliable tracking of a person with DJI's Osmo series, for example. .. Since gimbals have even more mobility, even more extensive tracking in space is probably possible, e.g. steeper in the downward or upward angle... Of course, the gimbal also has the advantage that you can also use it for video stabilization when moving by hand ...

already have a webcam that has implemented smart tracking via AI, albeit not 360°. Nevertheless, I wanted to try this tripod, which can be used for smartphones and small tablets. However, my expectations were not too high. But I was absolutely positively surprised. This starts with the processing quality of the tripod, which has a solid weight and is therefore stable. And that continues in the simple operation, which I find really successful. The smartphone or tablet is quickly mounted on the tripod. This works in both portrait and landscape format. And after switching on, the Smart Tracking function is set into action via simple gesture control. And all of this without having to install an app first. No, you can start right away. I think that's really successful. The tracking function of the Smart Tracking Tripod is also correspondingly fast. Of course, the recordings themselves depend on the recording quality of the smartphone/tablet camera. Worth a recommendation for me.

Since I now also shoot my vlogs with my smartphone and have always had a lot of fiddling with the camera settings on my previous tracker, I was looking for a face tracker that would give me more freedom of movement. I came across the model from K&F Concept. The tracker arrived well packaged, together with a charging cable and a manual. After unpacking, I charged the device first. That took just over an hour. What I already knew from other models is the built-in or programmed gesture control. In other words, to activate face tracking, you only have to roughly align the device and make an OK sign with your fingers next to your face. (Form an "O" with your index finger and thumb and stretch out your middle, ring and little finger.) From this moment on (if the device was previously switched on), the blue front LED changes to green and the tracker follows the body or body .the face. What irritates me a bit about the tracker is the lens position. When I activate the device, I always have the feeling that the lens is aimed at my chest. Although the tracker does what it is supposed to do, it irritates me a bit. What I really like is the speed with which the tracker aligns itself. In addition, the motor is quite quiet and - if you don't work with external audio recorders - you hardly need to pay attention to the noises here. What I also like is the 1/4" thread on the underside. The tracker fits on any standard tripod and I can also position the part in an elevated position. My IPhone 13 Pro in a case also fits into the clamp. Although that's the highest of feelings, it doesn't squeeze and the smartphone sits securely here. Actioncam adapters for gimbals also fit in here perfectly. All in all, I can absolutely recommend the tracker. Once you've internalized the gesture functions , the device does practically everything by itself. Great. That's why I'm sticking with 5 stars and hope that I can help with my review.

The small tracking device is delivered from China in a high-quality manufacturer's OVP (also good as a gift). There are also multilingual and good instructions, with brief instructions also being printed in the box so that everyone can easily and quickly understand how to operate them using hand gestures - well done

This face tracking tripod was given to me free of charge as part of the VINE program for testing. Nevertheless, you can expect a review that is as objective as possible. I'm no longer the absolute technology freak I used to be. I find this gimmick quite useful though. Even if I probably use it a little differently than advertised by the manufacturer. The stand for smartphones or tablets is well made and makes a solid impression. The thing contains its own camera, so it doesn't depend on the camera of the device being used. Arguably, this camera can do nothing but face tracking. In any case, data from this camera cannot be accessed. However, an attached smartphone or tablet reliably follows your own head. I think that's cool when I call up a recipe from the chef and work in the kitchen. The recipe is always easy to read because the tablet "follows" me now. It's actually just a little thing, but it's very useful for me. One or the other will surely find a fine application for this gimmick.
