This is a perfect filter what what I use it for . I use this on a Nikon Z 28mm lens to slightly soften the Image from a Nikon Z 6. I bought the 1/8 version. I really like the look from the filter. Great value for a filter. It does just what I wanted from a diffusion Filter .. Totally satisfied with the results.

It gives a dreamlike touch to the photos depending on the light and they look incredible.

I got one to fit my Sony 70-200mm lens. It works great. Image quality is plenty good enough for some cheesy photos and videos that I plan to take with this. If you need that old-school dreamy look then look no further.

This is a review of the 1/2 strength Black Diffusion filter.
This K&F filter provides a subtle yet noticeable effect with its 1/2 strength filter.
The effect is mostly noticeable on light sources, for example, lamps at night. In day time, the filter helps spread the warmer tone during sunrise and sunsets. It also helps edge off the sharpness when the sun is harsh.
Previously I used a different brand's filters that costs 2-3 times more, but I'm finding that K&F filters provide similar quality at a much more affordable price. The affordable price allows me to get multiple strengths of the filter for different use cases.
I highly recommend this filter who is looking to add a subtle softness to their images.

This filter is perfect for still photography and someone who puts a little more effort into taking photos, as this is not a combined filter as an ND or CPL. It’s a filter with only that softer effect. Because of that, videographers may look towards a K&F filter with that ND filter as to keep a stable frame rate.

Shipping was very fast. The &F Concept Nano-K Series Black-Mist 1/4 Filter 72mm Black Promist 1/4 Filter made of optical glass is very well made and can be screwed onto the lens thread without any play. I have tried out a few products from K&F so far. The quality (and also the price) have increased significantly. The filters are on par with comparable manufacturers who charge a lot more. I have had the standard filter portfolio at home so far. This is my first filter that is also intended to create an effect. My anticipation and expectations were accordingly high. The filter gives the image a slightly dark look with a lot of nostalgia. I really liked it. I also liked the fact that the filter does not change the quality of the image. The filter works really well when I shoot in JPEG using my film simulations. I am a passionate Fuji photographer and travel with my X-T5 and X100V. The filters and the corresponding film simulations work really well together!!! I can highly recommend the filter.

With this lens, you can achieve beautiful blur in your image right from the shoot, something you'd otherwise have to add on the computer. It's perfect for romantic portraits in the warm light of the evening sun, or for still lifes with candles or the softened Christmas tree lights. This lens will certainly be used more often.
The lens's workmanship is excellent, and the material used is certainly not the cheapest considering its weight. The thread is cleanly machined and smooth. The storage case protects the lens from damage when not in use, and the included cleaning cloths are very good.
I therefore give it a well-deserved 5 stars.

Haven't directly compared to a pro mist, but it's good enough that I don't feel compelled to.
