If you turn on the IR illuminator and turn off the viewer, you think the entire device is off...but the IR illuminator is still on!!!!! You can power the device with a power bank via a USB cable to carry less weight and ensure longer runtime.

It's not top notch but good for the money. The video was captured with my iPhone from a video I took of a skunk using only the first IR level. They really do a great job and you can't beat the price. I use mine all the time and no problem, just wish they were rechargeable

These night binoculars are ideal for stepping up your day and night wildlife spotting game. You can adjust the focus to get a clear and sharp image that allows you to view distant and near objects. I'm really excited about this because I can even take videos and pictures with it since it comes with a memory card. I love using it, it excites me because it's so cool and wonderful.

It's worth the risk at the price. It drains batteries and sometimes doesn't want to turn back on unless you remove the batteries.

I've owned this product for a few months now and have used it a few times. The only downside is that it drains the batteries pretty quickly, but it can run on an external power bank. I would also recommend turning the display brightness to maximum to see every detail even at night. I initially used it in low brightness due to the high light output of the display and was disappointed with the performance, but was amazed at how far I could see when I increased the display brightness. It far outperforms an expensive Yukon night vision goggle. I can see landscape and trees up to 600-700 yards and more and clearly identify animals or objects over 200 yards away, so I highly recommend it.

They work surprisingly well in the dark - things appear in black and white (the image appears to be displaying colors!). The controls are a little confusing, especially when you're using them in the dark. I think once you get used to the controls you'll be fine. Note that they don't actually fit over your eyes. You look at the flat screen. For the price they are good value for money. If I could find something similar (price and quality). that I can wear (military style), I would get them. The zoom works fine (haven't tried it at distances beyond about 20ft yet).

IR night vision works great. You can see very clearly in the distance. I have used this type of instrument in the past and this one is far superior. The only real problem I had was that the videos and photos taken were not very good. Also, my computer didn't recognize the camera, so I had to remove the card to see what I'd captured. The small screen inside the instrument is very clear even at night. The colors are good and the controls work as expected. I would have given 5 stars if the recorded footage was better. Overall this is a good solution if you only want to see in the dark. It surprised me how well it sees in the dark.

It took me a few days to figure out which button does what, but it's pretty easy to learn. I found it easier to learn hands on by looking. My only complaint is that the Focus will focus well. I've tried it with and without reading glasses, still a clear image. I would like to know if it is possible to make a still image from a recorded video? A bit like a screenshot from a cellphone or even your cellphone camera trying to do that these days. The night is very bright so I had to set my lamp low and yet it's almost too bright to see inside.

The quality of these night vision binoculars is much better than I expected given the price. Imaging works great even in pitch black conditions and the camera zoom is even more impressive. I've used the video recording feature a few times now with great results capturing high definition. It comes with a handy SD card and an adjustable neck strap. However, you will need to purchase your own batteries (six AA batteries are required). I would definitely recommend it for camping, night hunting or just surveillance. Very useful device.
