It's Very easy to use, the screen is clear, and it takes nice pictures and video. However, I used it to magnify a Starrett scale, and ended up with .125" worth of tic marks occupying 3.75" of screen, for a 30:1 magnification. This is very useful for coins, paper money, backyard bug and leaf images, and the like - but don't think you're going to look at cell structures.

Amazing investment. I've been a coin collector and enthusiasts. Purchasing this as my first enhancement of finding errors in coins was an awh factor to see the clear picture and details in the coins. If I ever really wanted closer I could hold the coins up to the lens and adjust the focus just right. The clearness that this product provides is exceptional and impressive. For the price you can't beat it. You don't need an absolute expensive product as a low guy that's a collector. Buy the warranty and you're set. If you're in a coin shop then you would obviously want a true investment to not just show your interest in just making a great investment, but something that would be used, bumped and moved around way more than a small one like this. I've dropped this one a couple of times. Super durable and sturdy. No issues of faults since being dropped. This is the first step to buy an item like this for first time enthusiasts. It's a very affordable investment. Charges exceptionally well. I just use this for the observation. I've personally not used the recording and storage. I've found amazing investment in coins thus far since purchasing this product.

Its not a cheap scope and not the moat expensive but its affordable and does a good job.

I like the larger screen, bright light, and all the options to adjust your view. We had fun looking at all kinds of things we found around the house and yard in much greater detail - petals, coins, sand, rocks, hair, pencils... the prepared slides it came with weren't that impressive.

I'm a cutting tool engineer and I use this to examine used tools to evaluate the effect of cutting a material on the tools. Taking pictures is easy and I'm able to store or email them to customers and colleagues.
