I WAS LOOKING FOR A DECENT WIRELESS MIC/LAV WHEN I CAME UPON THIS ITEM. FROM THE PHOTOS, THE DEVICE APPEARS TO BE METALLIC. THE RED VOLUME - + BUTTONS APPEAR TO BE METALLIC AND THE BODY LOOKS SOLID. NOT SO. THE BODY AND BUTTONS ARE MADE OF A CHEAP FEELING PLASTIC. YOU SHOULD LOOK AT MY PHOTOS AND COMPARE TO THE ITEM PHOTOS.I TESTED THE ITEM AND THE WIRELESS RANGE IS NOT REMARKABLE. ABOUT 15 FEET. DISAPPOINTED JUST BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF THE ITEM AS THE DEVICE FEELS LIGHT EASILY BREAKABLE. NOT AS SOLID AS PICTURED.UPDATED 5/4/21 -Reached out to customer support and they worked with me Regarding my issues above. Again, the mic itself seems to work okay. I was just disappointed With the materials and quality that I thought I would receive based on the phots. With that said, i am appreciate that customer service was attentive and willing to work With me to be happy With my purchase.

As a person who uses USB-C connectors on everything from Camera, to Phone, to Macbook, to Gimbal, to iPad. I'm happy that this charges and syncs using USB-C. Sound quality was great and the included soft-caps and dead-cats are a welcome addition for when I need some sound isolation in windy conditions. Very small, intuitive, and doesn't stand out too much when clipped on. Great product!

The sound quality is awful. Not clear at all, as if listening the recording from behind a thick wall. During chat, my friend asked me to use the mic of the phone because the phone is better.
