We’ve had several of these over the years to keep an eye out our two littles as they sleep. This one was by far superior to any other brand. The price is exceptional for what you get. I especially like how you’re able to move the camera without having to access that mode in the menu, there are dedicated buttons that just pan and tilt. It works very well at some impressive distances. Both floors of our house from one end to the other with zero connectivity issues at all. Also works well with multiple different monitors in use. We’ve had issues with other brands if we had both of our kids monitors in the same room they would interfere with each other. This one doesn’t seem to do that at all. And the battery is terrific, used it 3 nights in a row for a few hours each night without needing to recharge or leave it plugged in during use.Absolutely great for the price. We’ve had $300 monitors that weren’t nearly as nice as this one

I was looking for an affordable yet good quality baby monitor that I could rotate, move up and down, zoom in, etc. with the parent unit. Our previous baby monitor was stationary, which worked well enough for a babe who doesn't move around in the crib, but now that our girl is 1.5 years old, she's on the move a lot! I had my choices narrowed down to this one and the VAVA baby monitor. The picture quality for this one isn't quite as great as the VAVA monitor (my Mom uses the VAVA one at her house so I've seen it and used it), but it's still highly satisfactory and the ability to move the camera around, zoom in and out, etc. works just as well, in my opinion. We've only had this monitor for a couple days so I can't speak to the longevity of it, but for now we are happy and I am thankful for a good quality monitor that didn't cost $170 bucks!

For its basic function this works great. It had a lot of fancy extra features that we don’t really use but someone might find amazing. The only things I would change are:-always seems to be in night vision mode, even when room is brightly lit-zoom is either all or nothing, which I find useless-is a bit grainy-the screen, even when set on the dimmest setting is soooooooooo bright!!! For leaving on when we sleep it’s just insanely bright, but as a new mom I can’t bring myself to turn it offBut it lets me keep an eye on my baby so it serves its purpose

**I did not receive any money for this review, this was purchased by a family member off my registry**I had this monitor purchased for us off of our registry and I'm honestly disappointed. I researched for months on baby monitors. I wanted something that didn't hook up to WiFi and had a decent range so I could go outside and for when we move baby upstairs. I've been using this for a month now that baby is napping in the room on own, and I honestly am disappointed like I stated earlier in my post. Here are the reasons I am disappointed: the audio cuts out, the battery on the monitor doesn't hold a charge (after two naps, I'm having to charge it), the room has to be extremely bright for it not to be in night vision mode, and the monitor is often disconnecting from the camera and taking a while to connect again. The only thing I like about it is that it's not connected to WiFi. If you're looking for an okay camera and it doesn't bother you if the video and audio are cutting out, then I'd say this camera will still work for you. It does okay at "getting the job done".

Works as advertised. Covers most of our needs for our newborn. Peace of mind is enhanced.The night vision is a little off as it’s in black and white mode more often than it should be. Even when there’s good amount of light available.I wish there was a mic sensing setting between baby stirring noises and full blown screaming. These both work well, but there could be one in between. As you’d expect, this setting determines how deep the parents are able to sleep for short stretches of each night.

I bought this monitor in February and in May the video handheld stopped working (so my original review was very low because that was only 3 months of working!). The warranty website listed in the package information did not work. But I emailed the company thinking nothing would come of it. They responded, attempted to trouble shoot though it still didn't work, and then they shipped me a new handheld. Most companies would just ignore or say it was too late or user error or whatever. I was shocked they were so helpful and generous in the correction.Plus the monitor is great. :) it's very clear, and the camera is very quiet so you can move the lens around remotely and not wake the baby.
