When I received the plate for my manfrotto I didnt realize you have to remove the screw to able to adapt the plate to the larger screw size. I thought they had missed sending me the adapter part. Works great once I realized that. There are no instructions and it is made in China but it appears durable and will work for my purposes.

It is smaller than I expected, but it works well with my small camera and iPhone mount. I've only had it for a day, but it's a quality item.

Fits well in its matched base and just as tight in original manufactures bases. No as finished but seems to be just as secure. Great price for the kit. A welcomed part to my many camera platforms.

Despite not being able to lock the quick release plate, the product itself is of very nice build quality and works with all my other 323 RC2 plates. If you plan to use this on wide tripod baseplates or gimbals, you will most likely also need to get a riser to get enough clearance to engage the quick release plate's safety locking pin

Works just as well for a fraction of the price. It also works with the originals.

I Purchased this and the Manfrotto 323 RC to test and compare. The Utebit unit is very well built and provides 100% functionality and compatibility. The D-ring is slightly smaller and the clamp lever is marginally shorter, but hardly noticeable. I wound up purchasing multiple Utebit clamps for all of my tripods.

Purchase to add to used Manfrotto tripod with a ball head found on craigslist that was missing the camera mount. I used a 3/8-16 x 3/4 set screw to connect them together. Works fine.

What I did not like is that the metal plate you screw in your camera is covered with a " too thick " coat of paint and they snap together with the plate it makes it not so stable compare to my old one. The clamp itself is also covered with a thick coat of paint and when the paint wears off it makes it also not so stable.
