Nice solid metal construction. Better than the one that came with the tripod (plastic) but is slightly heavier obviously.

nothing wrong with it. it's a shame there isn't a square one, I tend to put it on the camera and realize it's on sideways, not a big deal though. It's quite solid, so a+.

I thought I lost the original plate while in The Rocky Mountains. However, I pulled out another lense and the plate was attached. So, now I have two plates which is a good thing. I won’t have to keep switching between my camera and the 150-600 mm lense.The plate is great quality and delivered like promised. The K&F Tripod is a quality product. Definitely would purchase it again and upgrade as well.

Direct replacement works fine BUT it got shipped from China I think.
