Mounted this microphone on my EOS M50 and it is truly night and day over the built-in microphone. One thing I really like about it is surrounding noise/sound is not picked up, it only captures the sound your camera is pointed at!

It's a nice microphone but the cable that comes with don't fit my Canon Rebel t7 it's to big the input on the camera is not 3.5mm it's smaller

QUESTION! How far does the sound measure if I set up phone on a stand, stepped back to create a video. Would my audience be able to hear me? Or is this item clearly just to sit and chat into handheld phone? I’m wondering I should just upgrade to wireless since I’ll be moving in the video

This sound quality of this mic is right up there with the Big Dogs plus it's smaller, cheaper and doesn't require a battery.I have 2 Rode VideoMic Pros that I use with my Canon 80D cameras. They're great mics but I have to remember to turn them on. And I have to remember to turn them off. The little Movo VXR10 is powered by whichever unit it is plugged in to. I have even used it powered power my Zoom H6.I can pack two VXR10 mics in place of one Rode VideoMic Pro. And you can't beat the price!!

The Sound is clear, I try this Mic with My Sony a6400 and the sound difference is really great. Love this little guy. I used Rode before but I can tell you guys this one gets the sound a bit more louder.
