My neighbors house is over 400 ft away. Mine has taken pictures of them moving their truck in the daytime.

Have used this GardePro A3 trail camera for several months. Simple to use and capture crisp clear images. No problem with heavy rain. And haven't replaced batteries by far. Happy with it.

This Is A Truly Outstanding trailcam And Better than Most At twice the Price . There Seems To Be A lot Of Confusion Over The Field Of View. There Are 2. The Motion Sensor Is Either 60 Or 120 Degs With The Side Sensors On And The camera Lense FOV That's 63 Degs. That Causes A Telephoto Effect. So If You're Doing A Wide Target Area Move The Cam Back Some And Do A Detection Test. Both My Cameras Had The Video Problem ( A freeze Frame Picture & 30 Sec Audio About 60 % Of The time) . I Emailed Support & They Sent Me An Email With The New Firmware Update Attached. You download The Update , Drop It In An SD Card , Follow The Inst In The Email And You're Good To Go. The Update Also Added The Picture +Video Mode. The Picture & Video quality Is Outstanding . Its Crisp & Sharp. The IR LEDs vary In Output To Prevent Whiteout Which Is Great But If There Is A Close Reflecting Object Like A Tree In The Foreground The Rest Will Be Darker. This Cam Will light Up An Area 75 Ft Away Like High Noon In B+W Or Give Perfect Exposure On A Deer Face At 5 Ft With A Dark Background. The Cam Also Has A 3rd Mode At Dusk & Dawn. A Special Sensor & Sony Software Give Another 30 Mins Or So Of Extended Daylight Color Video. Not As Good As The Normal Day Vids But The A3s The Only One I Know Of With This Goody. Battery Life & Storage - The Over 3 Mon Standby Batt Life Is Fine But Unless You're Tracking Snow Lepards Or Bigfoot And Can Wait 3 Months Why. The Point Is With Most Every Goody It Is Low Use . On The Other Hand On 20MP & 1080 FHD Video It A Memory Hog. ( HD Takes Space) The Cam Will Take SD Cards Up To 128 Gig. However 8 AA Batteries Will Only Fill About 32 Gig (That's About 250-300 1Min HD Vids) If You Have It Set On A Feed Station Looking For That Special Buck That May Be About 4 Days. If You Want To Go To 64 Or 128 Gig Cards You Need An External 12V Battery And A Plug In That's 4MM (Yellow Tip) (Important - Do Not Get The 90 Deg Plug In - They Don't Go In Far Enough To Make Good Contact - Will Fall Out & You'll Be Un Happy. Also Put In The 8 Batteries - It Will Keep Your Presets During Trans And Is A Backup If Some Coon Pulls Your Power Plug. - Amazon Has The Stealthcam Battery Box Under "Batteries" And I Think It has A 4mm (Yellow Tip) Plug. I've Been Running 2 A3s 24/7 For The Last 3 Months I Just Ordered Another.

I have 4 trail cams, from 3 different companies, and this is by far the best. The night video is amazing, crisp and clear, trigger speed seems faster than other cams I own, and it has excellent sound, which is very nice. I can hear a barred owl very clearly on one of my night videos of a deer, and just having the audio lets you know a bit more about what is going in the video. I had an issue when I first got it where i had some audio but the video was blank on some scenes, however the firmware update, which was very easy to do, fixed it. Hard to imagine why you would need any other camera-this one is just about perfect. Not sure about battery life yet, as I have only had it for a couple weeks so far, but I have exchanged the sd card on it about 4 times so far, so I have seen a lot of video.

I've been a trailcam junkie for a few years now. Looked at this camera and at first a little leery. For the price and the 30 day money back guarantee, I made a purchase. Shipping was slower than I would have liked. When it finally came, I tried it inside first. WOW! Impressive!! Put it out the next day. Got 500 pictures in 6 hours. Wind blowing caused side motion detectors to take a picture. Shut those off and set it on loop pictures. Still got a lot, but after looking at them I discovered some awesome videos of deer and a woodchuck. I actually heard them eating! I took it out and put it in an area protected from the wind. I've only had it 3 days now but what I've seen so far, I'm not sending it back. I swore allegiance to another brand but that's out the window now. So impressed, I'm getting another one of these! For the price, it's a fantastic deal. The quality should make the cost 4 times what it is. If you don't buy one of these, you're crazy. Video, audio, 20mp pictures, awesome. I would and will highly recommend this camera to anyone.

Fantastic trail camera. So glad I purchased this camera. The video quality is great and the audio is amazing. I'm very pleased with the quality of images and video this economical device produces. We've had heavy downpours of rain and not a single issue of moisture. If I had to be picky about something (and this is really stretching it), I'd say the LEDs put out a little too much light as all close animals nearly glow in the pictures. Again, this it nit picking, though. Overall, a great product and I highly recommend it.**EDIT: I have noticed a bug in the software. Nothing major, but the time stamp does not change from AM to PM (and vice versa) until *after* 12:59. This should, instead, change after 11:59. Not a big deal as the sunshine or darkness clearly indicates which is which, but a simply update of code should be made. Otherwise, still love this camera, glad I purchased it, and highly recommend it.

I use this on our ranch property to see what 4 legged critter is getting into our barns or horse stalls that shouldn't be doing so as well as for property security against two legged theives. the camera does a pretty good job and I am impressed with the quality of the cameras I bought a few years ago, especially the quality of the night shots. my old cameras often just showed ghostly silhouettes at more than 8-10 feet. I can actually see the stripes of the two feral cats that have made their home in the barn and sometimes go into the horse stalls. I also use them for wildlife cameras to get an idea how many coyotes moving thru the property at night, especially when it comes to the safety of new calves. I would purchase another and likely will

I bought this camera for night videos only. First the good. Night video quality is excellent. This is the only camera I have found that takes color night videos. I like that I can take video clips longer than 15 seconds, I do 30 or 45 seconds at night. Great price for what you get. Detection is at 120 degrees with videos at 60 degrees. Now the bad. When this camera detects movement and takes a 30 second video, it will then take 4, 5, or 6 more 30 second videos in a row with no movement. That's on high sensitivity. On medium sensitivity it missed some movement. I've checked this camera against one of my Bushnell cameras looking at the same area from a different angle. If I can't get this to work properly them I may send it back.

I ordered this camera around the 1st of March. After I set it up, I had trouble with the photo/video mode. GardePro customer service was not able to fix the problem so I returned the camera for a refund. I informed GardePro about the return. The next day the customer service rep sent an email that they had sent me a new camera at no cost. The new camera came and worked ok. The customer service people worked with me to upgrade the firmware. After the firmware upgrade the camera worked perfectly. It is easy to use and the manual is correct and easy to read and understand. The photo and video quality and clarity are outstanding. The IR night vision mode is awesome. This camera is certainly well worth every penny and a great value for your money. Customer service continued to work with me even when I was thinking of a different brand camera. I'm glad I stuck with the GardePro A3.

This is the first trail cam I ever owned, so realize I have nothing to compare this camera to. It seems easy to figure out, with decent instructions in the manual. It works day and night, is very sensitive on the settings I have set on it, and I have gotten several videos of raccoons, opossums, and rats snooping around on my deck and back porch, now have it set to get some video of activity in my back yard, and will later set it up to see what is snooping around my barn! So far it has been fun to play with. Just set it up and forget about it, letting it do its thing. I think the batteries will last just fine.
