a small disclaimer: I'm not an ND1000 filter person, I find their water/cloud smoothing effect mostly unnecessary and overdone, overused and overhyped (and many more overs). having said that every once in a while I need something more than ND64 so I decided to give this KF a shot, especially as it came at 40 EUR with Black Friday discount.

I didn't expect wonders and was prepared for heavy color casts. it turned out to be better than I expected. there is obvious color cast with this filter (photo 1) and to all the claims of "I see no cast" I can only reply: turn the AWB off, please, how can you discuss color casts otherwise, seriously?! but with WB adjustment it corrects (photo 2) very close to original colors without this ND1000 (photo 3). scale of correction: 5000K->7200K and 0->

sharpness for wide angle lens (35mm) is perfectly OK, as expected. I do notice heavier vignetting (both lenses have same degree of lens correction) which I'm not sure how to explain but I personally don't mind some in landscape shots.

Overall, I'm pretty happy. it's an inexpensive alternative to brands already known for heavy blue casts (I love your ND grads, Lee, but your Big Stopper is plain and simply a blue filter, period) and for casual usage you can't really expect more
very decent product for this price very decent product for this price very decent product for this price

I’ve been wanting an ND Grad filter for a long time, decided to go for the K&F as all of their other items are great value for money,
I wasn’t disappointed when I tried this,

Packaging: great care
Filter holder: ingenious (belt extractor) Anti-
scratch: excellent
Anti-grease: excellent
Anti-reflection: excellent (designed to be used in full sun)
Gain f / stop 11 (example allows you to lengthen the shutter time from 1 / 125 to 16 seconds)
I am attaching a shot made at 35 mm on FF with k & f Nd2000
f8-30 seconds.
Do I recommend it?
I love it, you do.

I bought the gradient filter because it was recommended to me by friends.

After a few weeks of use I can say that I am more than satisfied with it.
When taking photos, it is necessary to darken the sky (e.g. at sunrise or sunset) in order not to get a burned-out sky or too dark a foreground.
This is where the filter shows its strengths. The filter can be positioned very easily in the appropriate holder without the risk of it slipping out. This gives you beautiful photos even with long exposures.

To expand, I will add more filters of this brand later.

I can make a clear purchase recommendation!

As the title suggests ... Excellent metal filter holder. Excellent packaging, K & f, proves to be a company that creates materials of excellent quality, no longer an alternative to the most famous filters, but of first order! Advisable

Excellent workmanship of the holder. Good rings for insertion on the lens, good workmanship. The ND1000 filter is really great, its particularly protective case. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the possibility of inserting only two plates instead of three as in other brands, but the Holder is really well done, it holds the plates of both K&C and other brands very well. The insertion is well forced and the protection for the plates is well done. I did not get vignetting with 24mm D.82 lenses or 15mm D.72 lenses. To this I add that I also put a slim polarizer behind the D.72 holder and a variable filter and then put the plates I did not get vignetting. Great product I recommend it.

The filter has the dimensions of 10x 10cm, weighs 47.5gr and is 2mm thick, so it matches the filter holder of the same company. It is made of anti-reflective glass and allows to eliminate the noise due to artificial lights (i.e. the yellow part that appears at the bottom in the photographs of the Milky Way, due to the artificial lights of the city). The difference without the filter is remarkable, in fact even with a good post production process, the artificial light remains, while with the filter it is completely cut off. In the case of long exposures for the Milky Way, the amount of light captured by the sensor decreases slightly but the raw output is rich in information and allows you to recover the Milky Way and all the starry sky. It is possible to remedy this (i.e. capture more light) by using a star tracker or by taking more shots (in my case, without star tracker, with a f2.8 at 11mm, the maximum time for not obtaining the movement of the stars is 30 seconds). Even in the city it does its job by eliminating that yellowish gradient in the sky and bringing out the beauty of the night lights.
A must have for night photographers A must have for night photographers

I am super satisfied with the filter, does what it is supposed to do without changing the colour. I use it in a Rollei filter holder and it works without any problems.
Top price-performance

Very high-quality 100mm x 100mm ND64 filter with a measured thickness of 1.85mm.
The images look very promising even with sharp fixed focal lengths - it's fun to shoot with. I can't see any reduction in quality from the filter.
The extremely beautiful and high-quality packaging should also be emphasized. Here you get an imitation leather case that is lined with fine fabric on the inside and has 2 magnetic buttons incorporated. This case is again in a nice padded cardboard box.
Haven't worked with ND filters before, but I don't know what I could complain about here. The price is also extremely fair in comparison. Therefore full marks and recommendation on my part.
