DON'T Drop It.
Bought this last year as a backup but instead used it as primary; most handy to monitor ham channel and emergency channels (ARES member). Mostly repeater work out here. Fine on UHF also. Only complaint: Clip is marginal, bends too easily, then broke and unit fell off belt, stricking kitchen floor (linoleum), revealing poor design on battery retaining method as both sides of the mechanism show no damage, battery declines to stay connected. Duct Tape, Here I come!
