I think it's a projector.
Whatever I got is not native 720p (1280x720). Even at their recommended setting, there is a noticeable screen door effect. I measured the resolution across, what should be 1280 pixels was only 800. I didn't measure vertical, but considering consistent ratio, that would be about 450 pixels, which makes this SD. It may be a budget projector, but the description is still wrong. I hope I was sent the wrong one by accident, as I did order a 720p model according to the description. Regardless, the product I received is not what is described. There were also smudges all over the lens which implies to me that this has been returned before. The fan is really loud, too.Comparatively, I purchased the Turewell 720p before this and it was great, but it's not offered anymore. That one was a true budget 720p with a near silent fan. Sadly, that one broke by my own fault.Awful experience on this one.

Good but not great. Unique panoramic picture
I had originally wanted to install a wired POE camera system at my house but quickly realized that my home structure is not conducive to running CAT5e cabling where I would need for camera placement so I began looking into fully wireless cameras as an alternative. Wireless units will unfortunately always underperform their wired counterparts though. The design and build of this Reolink Duo, and all the other Reolink cameras I have, is top notch. After close to 6 months of use so far with the camera I've seen no issues that would suggest any longevity problems for the camera. Installation and setup is straightforward and fairly easy with the Reolink app. You have quite a bit of customization over the setup of your notifications, detection zones, and how the camera responds to motion (alarm, floodlight). The AI object detection is better than expected and the detection zones boundaries work quite well. I have the camera pointed at my shallow driveway but don't want to receive an alert every time a person or car passed by in the street so the detection zone is only half of the field of view of the camera. This way, anytime something enters the driveway I'll get notification and recorded footage of what is in my driveway and in the street at the time. Image quality for this 2K camera is good enough but not superb. That's to be expected though for a non-4K camera. You won't get amazing face details off this camera and can only read a license place number if it is a clear head on shot of the plate while the car is stopped. Freeze frame footage of a moving vehicle results in a blurred plate. The shortcomings of this Duo camera, and the other wireless Reolink cameras I have, all come down to the speed of response of the camera to trigger events and how slow/buggy the camera is to access remotely from the app. When a person crosses into my driveway they usually get 10-15 feet past the detection zone boundary before the camera starts recording footage to the SD card. This results in the person being nearly at the camera by the time recording begins so it is difficult to get a good face shot of say a delivery driving dropping off a package; most of the recorded footage is of their back as they leave. The other big issue is that the push notification alerts in the Reolink app work great but it then take ages for the app to load to the live camera feed for remote viewing from your phone. It's definitely quicker to load if you're in your house and connected to the same wireless network but if you're away from the house, even loading the Low quality video feed takes 30-90 seconds to load. So having 2-way talk on the camera is absolutely useless because the delay is far too long to every view and talk live to anyone near the camera live. Lastly, quite frequently I get error messages say connection to the camera failed when I try and connect to the live feed or view recorded events remotely in the app which is really frustrating. My network strength at the camera is great so it's not due to weak WiFi. One other side note is that in order for IR nightvision to work, you need to make sure that the entire field of view won't have any walls or close obstructions in the image. I originally place the camera in my backyard in a ~110 fence corner. Because the fenceline on both sides was capture in the image space it made IR unusable at night because the fence just lights up bright as day and nothing in the yard can be seen. So consider your placement of this camera wisely.Overall the camera captures and records acceptable video quality and provides you with notifications that something has happened you may want to look into. If you actually want to see what's happening live though and need instant remote connection to your feed, wireless Reolink cameras are not right for you.

It is a very good camera for the money
I bought this camera to be able to record travel videos. Everything arrived well packed in its box. The camera is easy to use, takes video in good quality and good stabilizer for videos. So far no problem with it, I recommend it.

Great camera at a great price
The camera worked excellently for our trip that we took to the Caymans. The waterproofing was fantastic and the image was very clear. This camera is a great product for a great price. Only downside would be the battery life but the second battery helps mitigate the inconvenience.

Nice camera at a nice price!
This camera has amazing quality and durability for the price. It is very versatile and easy to use, even for beginners. The only downside so far is the sticky mount isn't sticky enough, which makes it easy to lose this gem of a camera.
