Essential!!!!
This thing is awesome... only downside is your camera won't be able to read the lens automatically (you have to adjust manually), but for experienced photographers (who I assume are the majority buying this product) it shouldn't be an issue at all

Great microphone
Arrived within a day. Plug-and-play, very easy.What wasn't clear for me from the instructions that you HAVE to plug in a speaker, the computer's own won't operate if you have this mike plugged in - but this was easy fix.I used it for a teleconference, tested the mike from about 5 meters (15 feet give or take), it picked up sound crisp and clear.Really satisfied with the quality.

Great Microphone
I bought this to use when doing hybrid live/online workshops. Easy to use and very functional - works even in rooms that are large enough for up to 75 people!

Excellent microphone!
outstanding quality item! Used for interviews in a conference room, room was about 10x30 and had about 10-12 people around a long table. I had the microphone in the center of the table and every voice in the room can be heard crystal clear. I even had a couple people sitting on the side walls, not at the table, and still can hear their voices clearly in the playback. This mic is plug and play, USB connection, doesn't need any additional power source. I used a macbook air for recording, and used the 'garage band' app that came with the macbook, instead of quicktime app. There are some settings on garage band you should fiddle with to ensure you get the settings right, I used the 'automatic level control' toggle on the expanded menus and it worked great.

An excellent microphone!!
This microphone was a little late in delivery however it made up for that by being extremely easy to set up, and the fact that for the price it's an amazing microphone. I would buy this again and again if needed!

great microphone
I'm another court reporter, and this is simply way better than the small computer microphones with the pink ends I had been using previously. I don't customarily need the audio, but when I do, it is a great relief to be able to really hear what was being said.
