Motion detection is wonderful and when it recharges it lasts long enough.

This has to be one of the best motion detector lights I have ever bought. I wish it lasted longer than one year but I had no problem making the decision to buy another one.

I needed tea lights with timers and these are perfect. They are a little larger than the small tea lights. I tend to forget to turn things on and off so I live these because they come on automatically every night and turn off after 6 hours. They are plenty bright and even twinkle a little when on. I may even buy some more. All I have to do is buy batteries, so I can reuse them every year.

I have tried this for a few weeks before writing this. Using this for a home office setting= 8+ hours/day in front of a computer screenGOOD:- multiple brightness and light tone for different settings- eye fatigue and strain greatly decreased- takes up much less space- USB is an adequate length to reach the power source- the lamp bar itself is very solid and well made-love the touch buttons :reacts to the lightest tapBAD:- the instruction manual that came with it is a bit hard to understand.- the clip/ mount that came with the light... its a plastic and I was afraid i would break it trying to get the light into the clip ( it didn't break, but it does take some strength to get it in)- the rotation is a bit awkward: again I was afraid I would break something trying to rotate the light to the correct angle- mounting it took a while . It does clip on to monitor with a flat back, but anything that's curved won't work. The spring clip is very springy- it will snap onto the back of monitor if you don't release it slowly.- Not sure if the clip will harm monitor screens that don't have a wide enough bezel to clear the clip pressing on the screen : My fix was to cut a bit of the foam packaging and elevate the clip so its not really touching, but just resting on top and against the monitorSUMMARY :Overall I thought it was a good price for a lamp. It definitely did what I needed it todo and I did feel eye fatigue disappeared after a full work day in front of the screen. The dimming settings were cool, but I don't really need it as I prefer to adjust the intensity myself, but it does work. I had debated whether to get this item for a while and was glad that I did. It's a much more economical alternative to similar items available on the market. I would recommend this item.

I really like this product. It's USB 3 too which is a bonus and works well. It's nice and heavy too so stays in place.

My monitor is 1 1/4" thick and the light fit perfectly. It comes with a extra spacer to change to allow it to fit my monitor. The light gives you a choice of cool white or soft white to choose from and because it mounts securely you can just pass your finger over the sensors to change the setting of on/off, light selection temperature and diming setting. I could not want the light to do anything else. I have only had this light for a short period so I can not speak to its longevity but as of now well worth the 5 star rating
