Sound comes out
These a wireless headphones. When the first Walkman came out, these would have caused tumult in the streets. What a time to be alive.

They don't block out sound around you but the sound quality is fairly good. Volume is controlled on the device its plugged into, not a standalone feature on the device.

My son uses for school-they use blended learning where the kids have some lessons on computers so he uses them several times a day. They block out outside noise and have good sound for cheap headphones. Plus they are not expensive so if they get broken, it's not a huge loss.

Better than running a laptop all night in the nurs
Bought to keep a sound machine at grandmas' house. She uses it to block out grandpas snoring when the kids aren't there.

First ones I have ever had.
I am very happy with these. This is my first ones to have but sound is wonderful. And you can block everything out.
