K&F Concept 3" Suction Cup Camera Mount with Magic Arm

I've been using a K&F Concept tripod for years, and have been very pleased with it, so when I saw their suction cup mount, a jumped on it. This thing is great. It uses a pump to create a great amount of suction that allows it to hold on to a variety of relatively smooth surfaces. I've actually had this on one of my kitchen cabinets by the stove now to read recipes off of for the past two and a half weeks. And it never slipped, never fell, never needed to be re-pumped. It's not even a perfectly smooth surface. This is a stained wooden cabinet. I'm really impressed!The core of the mount and arm is metal, and you can tighten it down very firmly. It has a standard 1/4" tripod style screw.It comes with a phone mount and action camera mount, but you can use any of your own 1/4" mounts or adapt one of your larger threaded mounts with a screw adapter. The included mounting accessories are plastic, compared to the metal core, but are still good quality. I haven't had any issues with it, but in the future, when I use this thing outside of a car or something, I'd probably use one of my existing metal mounts with it instead for the added security.I expected this to be a good mount given my history with the brand, but it's honestly exceeded my expectations. If you're in the market for something like this, I highly recommend this option. This is a legit brand, and they make some good products.

I hope to do a longer review on this when I can put it thru some better real-world testing. For now... Up front, I was a little skeptical. I've purchased a few of these types of suction mounts in the past and been disapointed. Not so with this one. The mount itself is easy to use and super secure. I've had it secured vertically on a glass surface for 2 weeks now, and it shows no signs of budging. It utilizes a pumping mechanism (the orange knob in the photo is the pump) to create pressure and increase adhesion. Eventually some of the pressure will release (it will depend on the surface you are mounting to, the weight you are putting on it, and other factors), but it works great! There is an indicator (th line around the knob) to help you guage how much to pump before it is secure, and when you see the line appear again (depending on how long you leave it on), you can simply add a few pumps to add more pressure. As securely as it holds, releasing/removing it when done is also still quite easy. Everything about this seems solid and well made.I'll update this later with a video and more thoughts, but for now... 5 stars.

It is the strongest mount I ever used. It is really sticks on so strong that you can use it as a way to carry glass. The instructions to set it up is easy. The quality and sturdiness is really good. Just know one thing, if your using this for outside of your car. PLEASE, read the manual, it will say what surface it can be attached to and the surface has to been clean and free of dust. Also get a wire strap that will hold the mount and camera just in case it does pop off. The manual does say check the mount every 2 hours for its adsorption status. Mounting smartphones and small cameras to most standard size suction mounts is overkill. This 3" suction mount from K&F concepts is perfect for your smartphone, action camera or small mirrorless camera to be mounted to any smooth surface. It's size makes it easy to throw in a bag when you need stability for your smartphone or camera when you're on the go. It mounts quickly, stays put and easily releases when you're done. Great for mounting to a car windshield or side window as it takes up little space and doesn't block any of your field of view.The included magic arm allows for easy positioning to get your best composition. An additional feature added by K&F is a loop for a safety cord if you want to mount the suction cup on the outside of a vehicle. Nice attention to detail by K&F. Also included is a spring loaded smartphone mount and a GoPro type mount for action cameras. I’ve used the K&F Concept 3" Suction Cup Mount a few times now, and overall, it feels fairly well-built and solid. The main suction base has a sturdy construction and holds firmly to my car window when it’s clean. It generally stays in place, even when I’m driving on bumpy roads, and the 360° double ball head arm offers plenty of flexibility to adjust angles exactly how I want them.The phone holder is the part I’m least confident about. It grips my phone okay and adjusts to fit different sizes, but it feels a bit less robust than the rest of the mount. The phone holder just doesn’t seem to have quite the same build quality as the mount itself. I haven’t had any issues with it yet.The action camera mount is solid as it doenst have any moving parts. Its strong plastic that should last,That said, I’m not overly worried if the phone holder does break eventually because the mount uses a standard 1/4" screw thread. This makes it easy to replace the phone holder with another compatible accessory or switch to a different phone mount entirely if needed. Knowing I have that flexibility gives me some peace of mind despite my reservations about the phone holder’s durability.In summary, the mount itself feels solid and grips well on my car window, but I do have some doubts about the phone holder’s long-term sturdiness. Fortunately, the universal screw thread means replacements or upgrades won’t be a hassle if I need them.

5 stars — Very stable and versatile! I bought the K&F CONCEPT suction cup mount for my car to mount my action camera (Insta360 X5) while driving and I absolutely love it! The suction cup mount adheres incredibly well to the windshield and keeps the camera securely in position while driving — even when cornering fast or at higher speeds. The ball head and the Magic Arm offer super flexibility so that I can orient the camera in almost any desired position. The center hole also makes it easy to mount the camera stably without it moving. The quality of the material looks very robust and durable. The arm is easy to adjust and holds securely even when the road vibrates. I've already used the mount for both my phone and my GoPro — both fit perfectly! For anyone looking for a flexible and secure solution to mount their action cameras in the car, I can only recommend this mount. Great value for money!

I was able to test the K&F suction cup mount as part of the Vine program, as I have a lot of work to do in the photo and video sector, the offer was very convenient for me! The holder arrived at my home clean and well packaged, and I would have expected nothing else from K&F. The holder must be assembled in a few simple steps before first use, the composition is actually self-explanatory and a small Allen wrench is included in the packaging. Instructions are also included for anyone who doesn't get along. The suction cup holder itself is made of aluminum, the threaded holes are also made of metal. A mount for the most common action cams and a mobile phone holder which, in my case, can hold the Samsung S24 Ultra loosely are also included. The mobile phone holder can be opened so that even small tablets can be held. Surprisingly, the suction cup not only sticks to mirror-smooth surfaces, but also to somewhat rough surfaces or to wood when painted. Be careful with car windows as they are usually slightly curved, so you should check from time to time that the vacuum is held to hold the bracket. I noticed that the car had worn off a bit over time, not that the bracket had fallen off, but I had to inflate some negative pressure. While we're at it, the bracket is held with a small pump button which creates a vacuum under the suction cup. A small mark on this button indicates whether there is adhesion or sufficient vacuum. If the mark becomes visible, you should act quickly so that the holder does not fall off. Otherwise, when everything fits, the bracket is bomb-proof, so you won't easily tear it off anymore. To release the holder, there are 2 thickenings on the top of the suction cup which you have to press together slightly to ventilate the vacuum. The suction cup can then be removed. As already mentioned at the beginning, you can attach all types of cameras or even lights that have a 1/4" thread or recordings like GoPro to this mount. There is even a hot shoe embedded in the cell phone recording, on which video lights or microphones can also be mounted. Even small SLR cameras can be mounted and held securely. On the other hand, I would not install larger cameras, I suspect that the leverage would then be too great and the mount would yield and fall off in the worst case. Everyone should know how much such cameras cost. I am very satisfied with this mount and give it 5 stars, it has served me faithfully even on vacation and has not disappointed me in any way. I would say the price-performance ratio is right and so is the quality.

Use & handling Installation is simple: The integrated air pump creates the vacuum, and the warning line on the pump helps to control the stop. Thanks to the quick release, you can release the holder just as quickly. In practice, the mount sits very firmly, whether on glass, bonnets or other smooth surfaces. The flexible adjustment via the ball head and Magic Arm is particularly practical, which allows you to fix the camera in almost any desired position. Thanks to the additional 1/4" threads with ARRI positioning holes, further setups can also be set up easily and without twisting. The mount is ideal for action cams such as GoPro or Insta360 X4/X5, DJI Osmo Action or even smartphones. 3. My personal conclusion (full-time videographer/photographer):
The K&F Concept 3" suction cup mount impresses with its excellent workmanship, high load capacity and flexible uses. Whether in the car, during outdoor shooting or for creative shooting angles, the mount is stable and reliable.
