Have this a go as was on a deal and cracked the UV filter I’ve been using for about 12 years. Chose to go with this one due to its claimed smaller profile and quality. It’s definitely thin, easily half the size compared to previous one and from what I’ve taken so far the images are great, mainly black and white but look fine in colour from what I’ve seen

Filter is very cleanly processed, thread runs smoothly, nice, non-slip ribbing for easy screwing and unscrewing. Glass clean and free of grease. No change in image quality (color, etc.). Was mainly intended as a lens protection. Has yet to prove itself in strong sunlight.

This filter perfectly fits the Sony SEL-35F18 standard lens (fixed focal length, 35mm, F1.8). After buying the lens, I screwed on this filter to protect the lens from dust, scratches and other external influences. Recommendation.

I have the UV protection filter on almost all of my 7 lenses. Not to reduce UV radiation, but to protect my lens glass. The UV filters arrive well packed in a plastic box. I can recommend the filters without reservation.

now have quite a bit of K&F camera gear and it has never let me down. This is a simple UV filter that many use to protect the lens itself. It does its job and is well made. Comes in a nice box for storage and is sturdy and well made

I am usually against UV/haze filters as I am concerned about their effect on image quality. However, I plan to use my Sigma 150-600 DG DN Sport (Sony E-Mount) in pretty harsh conditions such as coastal bird photography, surf photography, and sports. So, I caved and purchased this filter to provide protection for the lens front element.
However, given that this K&F filter would probably be considered "mid-tier" in terms of price, I wanted to test if it in fact had any effect on image quality. The attached image of a $20 dollar bill was taken under the same exact circumstances - 600mm at ISO 100, tripod with OS off. As you can see from the screenshot taken in the compare view of my photo editing software, the image on the right (with filter) is clearly sharper with better contrast.

Bought this to protect lens on new Sony DSC HX 400v camera, quickly delivery under current circumstances, took picture with and without this lens filter and with is in my opinion better.

I bought this UV protection filter for my Sony 28-70 kit lens, it good fit and great protection filter. I can not tell the difference between filter and no filter in the most shots. It is also pretty light. I am really satisfied with this good made and high quality UV filter.
