The quality of the filter is really good. The worst part about the filter is that if light hits it just right, you get a blue reflection into the lens onto the image.

I am a professional photographer and ordered the 58 mm UV filter to protect a new high dollar lens. Thefilter works fine I at this point have found no image IQ problems.The problem I have with the lens is my lens cover will not not fit with the filter screwed on. I always try to keep covers on all my lenses along with another filter for extra protection. The lens I bought the filter for is a DA* 1.4 55 mm, Pentax. I will now order a B + W or anTiffen filter and try this with another lens.

I purchased this concerned about keeping my camera lens protected and smudge free. The purple and blue hue is absolutely gorgeous! (see picture) This UV filter makes photos slightly warmer, which is expected since it's blocking out the higher frequency wave-lengths. I wasn't expecting the frame to be made of metal either, it feels really nice to the touch.

Bought this as optional protection for my tilt shift lens. Surprisingly this has had no negative effect on pictures, except in situations where any filter would impeded photo quality. I was planning on only using it when shooting in situations where the lens could get scratched but it as proven itself and has stayed on.

The filter seems well made and appears multi coated at a low price. Photo quality doesn't seem to be impacted.

There's many UV Filters out in the wild but for the price and extra features you get on this you can't beat having a UV Filter like this!

I wanted this mostly for protection but also didn't want to have any added distortion or coloring in front of my expensive glass. This doesn't alter the image at all in any way that is noticeable. That's all I wanted.
