I purchased a UV 72mm filter for my 100-400mm lens as besides getting the UV /haze reduction, I wanted to protect my lens from accidental front glass damage and this filter does the job.
I also purchased a 62mm CPL filter for my zoom lens as this is the lens I use mostly. Both filters thread onto the lens nicely and are of good quality.
The filters came well packaged in a cardboard sleeve containing round thick plastic filter cases. I think you could drop these with little risk of damage.

I don't know how to describe it, but this UV filter is shockingly clear. It's like it's not even there, but it is, and it looks beautiful too. If you've ever seen the glass that Apple stores use for their stores, it's like that (Apple uses a special glass for all of their stores and their HQ that is remarkably clear). This filter is like that. I haven't had it for long enough to see if it really holds up against scratches, bumps, water, etc., but just from initial feels, it seems like it does what it advertises.

I got this basically to protect my lens. It fits perfectly and looks great. I can get just as crisp and clear photos with this on as with it off. Works perfectly!
