I've switched to K&F UV filters from a "competing" brand. A couple of reasons: The filter build quality is superior. These have better "texture" to the metal making them easier to screw and unscrew. The coating looks superior, and I have not noticed any degradation in image quality. Image quality between UV / SKY1A filters is so subjective I won't go into any discussion. Suffice it to say these have no noticeable degradation to picture quality (and I do a lot of macro & wildlife, both ends of the distance / lighting spectrum). Further, I am fanatical about protecting my lenses. The threads on the lens barrel are easily damaged by a drop and the glass can be scratched. I'd rather replace a filter than a lens any time. K&F has a "better filter". Recommended.

Added to lens for a recent trip to Yellowstone. No distortion, great protection and never fogged or had snow stick.

absolutely love the K&F filters I have, they work flawlessly. Made with high quality Japanese optical glass, they are very high quality. Why pay more for a name?

love my Leica Q2; it has the best lens I've ever had. But the lens hood is a protuberance I would like to do without. This filter allows me to leave the hood at home and not worry about scratches to the leg. That's what I wanted and that's exactly what I wanted.

bought this lens protective filter for my Canon RF 100mm F2.8 macro lens. It fits nicely and give me peace of mind that my front glass is well protected.
