The filter is exactly as described, easy to fit, feels well constructed and comes in a sturdy case.As far as I can tell it does not add any innacurate colour cast as some cheap ND filters do.I bought a size to fit my largest Olympus pen f lens( which it does with no problem) and I purchased some low cost lens ring adaptors so that I can use it on any of my lenses(I did the same with a good quality polarising filter).

I shoot vlogs and wanted to experiment with manual settings outdoors; and it was suggested by other Youtubers to try using a variable nd filter for video shooting to help get a more cinematic look. I didn't know what to expect and didn't want to drop too much money so I gave this one a shot. I bought this particular fader because it was available and recommended by Amazon. Honestly it works very well. I've used it on video shoots and it helps me get the exact settings I want. I can easily get the fully open aperture and low ISO in broad daylight. Being variable I just have to rotate to change the setting rather than changing separate fixed nd filters. The image quality looks great as well, very sharp. I'm not sure if there is any color change as I don't notice it. The only thing I wish it had was some indicator to tell you what density it is at other than just line markings. But it isn't a deal breaker since I just rotate until I get the right exposure settings anyway. Just be careful of rotating past minimum or maximum as you do get that 'X' across the image that people talk about. I think it's prevalent for all faders anyways. Also I wish I could put a lens cap on it since the outside isn't threaded so the cap doesn't stay on. Other than that the build quality seems very good.Overall it's a great filter to experiment with and for its low cost it's definitely worth trying out.

This is a great little filter. You may see a slight color shift, but only if you are doing heavy color grading.

Quite good for the price, my first ND filter. Really helps in strong light. But beware, those don't work well with wide angle lens.

This thing is ridiculous! Got it yesterday and took it out today for some waterfall pics in a small stream close by. This was around 5 in the afternoon. Nice, bright, sunny day. I was able to get 20 second shots with no problem and could have taken even longer ones. I did get a few nasty flares on a few of my pics but I think that was my bad as I was shooting towards the sun and it is not on all of my pictures. I'll have to try again and shoot with the sun to my back and see how it does. But for the price there is no reason not to have one for each of your lenses. Very happy with this. And it's nicely constructed of metal and screw in smoothly. 6 Stars!
Nice, bright

I've used the filter for a few weeks now and overall it is a decent product. The build quality is great but i needs some sort of click adjustment. I had to stop taking photos just to adjust it and when i have the camera clipped to me since the filter does not lock into position it could change the setting i had without me knowing. Conclusion this is a good starter ND filter if your just getting into photography. It does what it needs to do without any bells and whistles.I would recommend this product for beginners or someone needing a cheap replacement or emergency backup.

Fits my lenses well and does its job as an ND phenomenally. You will start to see uneven filtering as you approach the max setting. Overall good build and quality, my only dislike being that the lens caps do not stay connected too well, and end up falling from the slightest of bump.
