When purchasing a tripod there is always this conflict between light weight and high quality.Everyone wants a top notch heavy duty stable tripod but this comes at the cost of portability and flexibility.BEST OF BOTH WORLDSI’m happy to say I’ve finally found a solution, after a few bad purchases through the years.I do a lot of video work so I end up carrying a lot of equipment around. This tripod is now my go to stand for my DSLR on smaller projects. No point breaking my back carrying around my big rig, as much as I like to have all the options.STURDYI’ve used this tripod several time to hold my DSLR static while doing interviews to get another angle and it’s performed flawlessly everytime. It’s steady even without weighing it via the hook.CLIP LEGSI have forever been plagued by tripods with twist adjustable legs, the bane of my existence. The time you spend unscrewing and tightening those legs is a nightmare, especially when clients are impatient. Luckily this tripod comes with clip legs that are a happy medium between loose and reliable underweight. They have yet to slip on me and are easy to adjust in a pinch. Nb. I received this product free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.LOVE :)I’m totally in love with this tripod now and it’s quickly become my favourite, and what about the price! Really can’t go wrong, pick one up – You won’t regret it!

This tripod exceeded my expectations! This was purchased for me by my DH as a birthday gift. It comes folded up in a carry bag that is very well made and sturdy and there is another small cover that goes over its head. As a budding photographer, this is easy to set up and take down, and is light enough to haul it around for a few hours at a time. I especially like the quick release feature that when locked totally prevents the camera and adapter from slipping. Also like the rubber pads on the adapter to prevent the camera from twisting while trying to use it in oddball angles and configurations. The locks work smoothly. The operation of the head is very smooth and has a level built in.

Overall it's a very good tripod. At first I was somewhat taken aback by how heavy it was, but to be fair the weight is listed so no room for complaint and very quickly get used to it - had it on my back for 30 miles cycling yesterday and hardly noticed it. The legs fix in place nice and firmly and fully extended the camera is eye level and I'm 5ft10, perfect.But....as noted by "Siney - 2 March 2016", I find panning SUCH hard work as although the swivel head seems solidly built, the resistance is HUGE and is impossible to modify. As a result it's not smooth, not because of shoddy construction causing jumps, but it seems that the resistance is hydraulic and will move slowly to begin with but extremely slowly once pressure has built up. It is definitely NOT a tripod for sports or panoramas which is a shame as panoramas was one of the main reasons for buying it.Also the legs don't slide up or down very smoothly, there's inconsistency between legs. Minor point in overall usability but that's not something that you would expect of a tripod at this price level. Once extended, fully or partially the legs are firmly held in place, the leg angling mechanism is very good and once you work out (instructions missing) how to invert the tripod it's very easy to use for downward macros. It's not a top quality tripod but then it's not a top quality price, so 4 out of 5 just about sums it up - good tripod for a good price.

A brilliant piece of kit, ideal for my youtube channel and I can take it on the go with the carry bag and strap, would really recommend.

Unexpected quality...for the price this tripod was marked up for i was expecting a basic piece of equipment that would be good enough for my amount of use however was met with a rather large surprise. The build quality of this is second to none and even the box feels like you have a quality product in hand. It comes with it's own comfortable carry case that has a basic handle and an added shoulder strap concealed inside. The tripod itself...the screw mount fits both my dslr camera and the attachment for the Gopro and has a quick release so you can take the camera in hand without spinning it round on the screw to get it off for smart continual filming. Since my gopro gets the most use i have attached photos showing this connected. It is simple to use, the mount has a spirit level to work with the ball adjustment to get your images perfectly straight or on whatever angle you're looking for. The main stem can be flipped so to mount the camera "upside down" lower down and between the legs of the tripod. The legs themselves...solid...what more can i say, the build quality here still feels excellent with three varying angles and are easy to adjust. One of the legs has a comfortable grip for moving the tripod about while the camera is attached which is a nice feature and as well as the varying angles have multiple varying heights. In order to change the height the legs have clip locks rather than the twist locks which i prefer and work well with no give or concerns of them slipping. It is lightweight for the size of the tripod and folds small enough to use in the handy carry case or to fasten to the side of your camera bag whichever most convienent. It works well and is a solid build and would be good enough for amateurs and professionals a like with no worries about it's durability, in my opinion it is built for purpose and built to last and my review still does not do it enough justice.
Professional quality! Professional quality! Professional quality!

I was disappointed when I ordered the item and then realised it was coming from abroad and would take a month for delivery. The tripod was shipped out the day after I placed my order and arrived 12 days later which is fantastic service. The item was well packaged, plastic outer wrap over a layer of bubble wrap which meant the box was in perfect condition when I unwrapped it. Inside the box was a heavy duty nylon carrier bag with handle and detachable shoulder strap. The tripod inside was in a plastic bag and silicon packs were included to keep the damp off the tripod. The head was covered with a velvet bag for extra protection which was a nice touch. I was immediately impressed with the weight and quality of the tripod and appreciated the foam sleeve on one leg as tripods are always cold to handle. The legs extend with simple clip release action and they are in four sections so plenty of height without having to extend the neck, The clips are stiff but not so much that you have to fight with them and they ensure the legs are able to support the camera. The clips at the tops of the legs are easy to use and allows you to move the leg position for more stability or simply to lower the tripod height. The centre pole can be removed and inverted so the camera can be placed lower to the ground. The ball head is smooth and once secured very stable. It can be turned smoothly through 360 degrees and the ball once locked in place is very secure. The plate to attach the camera to the head is metal and the attachment is very secure I would have no worries about hanging my camera upside down on this head. There is a wrist strap to ensure you have complete control of your tripod if holding it in a precarious position such as the edge of a cliff or waterfall or balanced on the side of a boat, where ever you balance it the strap will ensure you don't lose both tripod and camera. Aesthetically the tripod looks expensive, the black and gold makes it look classy and although not an important feature of a tripod is still worth noting. I would happily recommend this tripod to others, for the cost of under fifty pounds including ball head and postage you can't go wrong with this fabulous item. I am sure it will give me many years of use.

Whether you're a beginner, an enthusiast, or a professional, there are some pieces of photography equipment you just cannot do without, one of which is a tripod. The dedicated enthusiast and those that earn their living from taking photos will already have one of their choice, so this review is for the newcomers and those yet to take the plunge. As with most pieces of equipment, there is a plethora from which to choose, so how do you make the right choice? K&F Concept has a tripod that sits in the middle of its range. The TM2324 has plenty of tricks up its sleeve to tempt you.Weighing in at a smidgeon over 4lbs (1.85Kg), including the ball head, it's not the lightest around and it's not up there with the top of the range tripods, but you're not paying Manfrotto, Gitzo or 3 Legged Thing prices. That weight might not sound much but bear in mind you might be carrying it around all day. Fortunately, K&F has supplied a more than decent carry case and shoulder strap to help. The four section legs can be adjusted into three angled positions for different shooting heights and the centre column can also be inverted for low level use. It's easy to do, too. To alter the angle, simply press on the gold clips at the top of the legs and move it. To invert the column, unscrew the bottom part, slide it out, turn it round and screw it back on to stop it falling through. The height can then be adjusted by turning the collar to the desired position. The leg extenders are the lever type and though some prefer twist lock ones, I have no preference. As for sturdiness, it does its job provided you don't go too heavy with your camera and lens. The recommended maximum is about 17½lbs (8kg), which is that of a high end camera and lens. And if you own that sort of gear you won't be buying this tripod; for CSCs and other DSLRs it will be ample for your needs. One leg is covered in a foam sleeve for when you're carrying it around without the bag (tripod legs are notoriously cold at the best of times) and the feet have a slightly raised centre for added stability. At this price I didn't expect to be able to change the feet, so these are perfectly adequate. There's an in-built hook on the end of the centre column from which you can hang your camera bag for extra stability. Just pull it out to use and when you're done it self retracts. The 360° ball head itself is more than satisfactory, too. It comes already attached to the tripod but covered by a velvet bag. A nice touch. The spirit level is an assist, as is the quick release plate. The only issue I had was attaching my camera to the plate. I found it easier to remove the plate, screw it to the camera and then replace the plate onto the head. A bit fiddly but nothing you can't overcome, and if you're using a tripod, you're not out for some instant photos, so the 15 seconds or so it takes won't matter.Though obviously not high on someone's criteria, the aesthetics are pleasant enough. Those gold coloured angle clips along with the same colour banding around the centre column collar set it off quite nicely. There's a carry strap attached to the central column not for extra stability, but to save you from having to scramble down a cliff or something; you wouldn't hand hold your camera without the strap (and if you do, don't), so this is a safety element. Although mine was missing, this does come with a manual. Well worth considering.Caveat: This particular model in the range cannot convert to a monopod.
