9.8" Magic Arm * 2pcs, 1/4" Screw Camera Mount Arm 360° Ball Heads for DSLRs, Monitor, Flash, LED Light, Microphone, Camera Cage, Action Camera
SKU: KF31.199S1
Another solid accessory from K&F Concept. This set includes two 9.8" magic arms, which is perfect if you run multiple accessories on your rig. Unlike the clamp kit version, this one doesn’t include the C-clamp or cold shoe, but if you already have mounting points on a cage or tripod, these are exactly what you need.
Build quality is excellent. They’re all metal, feel sturdy in hand, and lock down tight with a single knob that controls both ball heads at once. Once tightened properly, they hold lightweight to moderate accessories securely. I use magic arms like this for small LED lights, on-camera monitors, mics, or even action cams.
Both ends use standard 1/4" threads, so they’re compatible with DSLRs, mirrorless bodies, cages, GoPros, Insta360, DJI gear, and more. The 360° dual ball head design makes it easy to fine-tune angles and get your accessory positioned exactly where you want it.
For around $35 for two arms, it’s a great value if you’re building out a more flexible photo or video kit. Reliable, versatile, and well-made.

I'm really excited about this Magic Arm Set from K&F Concept after playing around with it a bit! Great set, super versatile
You get two “Magic Arm (s)” with a joint in the middle and two ball joints with 1/4 inch screws at both ends, well packaged.
There is nothing wrong with the quality of materials and workmanship. The parts are made of metal and look really good and valuable in their anodization, I hope that it stays that way for some time. Top!
I had to play around for a while to understand how the system worked. The two ball heads at the ends of the double arm (which can be tilted up to 90°) do not have their own screw mechanism for fixing, but are fixed together with the knee joint that connects the two arms. This central joint can only be adjusted in one plane and the position is fixed by means of a wing screw. But the joint also has “grids”, so the adjustment is not completely continuous (but almost). With the central joint, however, the two ball joints are now also fixed at the ends, via an invisible mechanism. The farther the wing screw is turned on, the tighter both ball joints sit at the ends (always equally tight), up to “bomb-proof”. The adjustment works better than expected, because when the wing screw is screwed in, the central joint is first fixed due to the “latching”, while the two end ball joints can still be moved in the ball head sockets, depending on the degree of fixation in the middle. This allows you to adjust the entire arm really well, first the middle position, then the two ends, and the “strength” when adjusting (the resistance of the balls in the pans) can be adjusted continuously using the wing screw. When all three joints are in the desired position, the central wing screw is tightened and everything is absolutely tight. If you want to adjust one of the ball joints a bit more, turn on the screw slightly, align the joint (against the resistance), and screw it tight again.
Great system, I'm really impressed!
Overall, a great set from K&F Concept, not even my first product from this brand in the photo accessories sector. I'm more than satisfied, the price is really good in my opinion.
Recommendation!

Since I have already bought products from K&F myself in the past and was largely satisfied with them, I was all the more looking forward to this test! I mainly use the two Magic Arms in my local home studio. There I use them as a monitor mount or in combination with an external gripper as “mini stands”, which works great! The quality is impeccable and leaves no flaws. The arms are made of metal and the locking screws are made of plastic.
Important to know: The set does not include a gripper, you would have to bring it in addition. The small arms also have a maximum load of 2 kg, which can cause problems with larger camera sets. The package contains two of the same Magic Arms and nothing else!

With these Magic Arms, K&F Concept provides a technically sophisticated solution for photographers and videographers. I primarily use the holders to flexibly attach accessories such as monitors or LED lights to camera cages.
Workmanship and feel
The haptic quality of the Magic Arms is immediately convincing. The material looks robust and the mechanical components are precisely manufactured. The joint in the middle is particularly noteworthy: While many simple brackets rely only on friction, K&F Concept uses a form lock here. Small, fine teeth ensure an extremely stable fixation of the arms. Since the grid is very slight, I can precisely align the bracket without it sinking into position under load.
Function and adjustment options There are standardized 1/4 inch screws
at the ends, which allow easy installation on various accessories. The ball heads have a special recess, which allows me to easily bring them to a 90-degree position. Since they can also be rotated 360 degrees on the axis, the adjustment options are extremely diverse in practice.
A significant advantage is the central locking mechanism. With just one movement of my hand, I not only fix the arms themselves, but also lock the two ball heads at the ends at the same time. By specifically dosing the force when tightening, the ball heads can be perfectly positioned during alignment before they are finally fixed.
Conclusion
The Magic Arms from K&F Concept stand out due to their technical sophistication and high stability thanks to the toothed joints. The combination of flexibility and secure fixation makes it a reliable tool for everyday video use. I can highly recommend these holders due to their high-quality workmanship and functional details.

For any video pro building out a permanent studio or a camera rig, these K&F CONCEPT Magic Arms are essential "third hands."
Why They Belong in a Pro Kit:
Rock-Solid Lock: The toothed interlocking center joint prevents the "creep" common in cheaper friction arms. Once tightened, it holds monitors or lights exactly where you set them.
One-Knob Workflow: A single central wingnut locks both ball heads and the elbow simultaneously, allowing for rapid adjustments during a shoot.
All-Metal Durability: The CNC-machined aluminum construction feels premium and stands up to daily professional use, unlike plastic alternatives.
Compact Utility: They fold down to just 4.5 inches, making them easy to keep in a pocket or gear bag for mounting mics, webcams, or action cameras on the fly.
Pro Tip: Since one knob releases all joints, ensure you have a hand on your gear before loosening. It’s rated for 2 kg, making it perfect for field monitors and small LED panels.
The Verdict: Faster and more stable than most arms in this price bracket. A reliable, no-nonsense mounting solution.

K&F Concept continues to be reliable, and these are no exception.
These magic arms are a great size for smaller setups, but still have enough strength to hold more than you’d expect. I’ve used them for lights and accessories, and once they’re locked in, they stay put.
The build quality feels solid all around. No cheap parts, and the joints tighten down with confidence without slipping.
If you need something compact but dependable for mounting gear, these get the job done without any fuss.

These, like other k&F gear i have, are fantastic. They are easily adjustable and very functional and don’t have any issues with loosening over time. The clamps work well and they seem extremely durable although I haven’t been able to really test that. As for value, they are very competitively priced, and honestly a much better choice than some of the bigger names because they carry a lot of the same quality. The plastic adjusters on the 1/4-20 threads could be a little better, but I haven’t had any issues with him in the field and for most applications they work just fine. Would totally buy these again.

The compact 9.8" magic arm mount 2-pack set from K&F Concepts are perfect for small mount scenarios.
The K&F CONCEPT 2-Pack 9.8” Magic Arm is a fantastic, professional-grade mounting solution for creators! Made from high-quality aluminum alloy and stainless steel, it’s super durable and an “engineering marvel” with its single central knob that locks all the joints at once, making it super easy to set up and use.
Once you tighten the central thumb screw, the arm is rock steady and can hold positions even when you’re shaking things up. The 360° dual ball head design lets you lock it down at virtually any angle, which is perfect for mounting field monitors, LED lights, microphones, or action cameras. It’s all-metal construction with anti-slip rubber pads on the 1/4” screws to keep the gear from twisting or scratching. When not in use, these fold up to a portable compact length of 4.5 inches, which earns a permanent place in my camera gear go bag.
While it can technically hold a full DSLR for static shots, I’d recommend keeping the load between 1–1.5kg for better security and peace of mind.
The arms have a clean design and professional look with the uniquely branded K&F orange accents and precise machining. The standard versions don’t have ARRI-style pins, which might cause the camera to rotate if the weight isn’t centered and it’s probably not the best choice for heavier equipment when you’re moving quickly (like mounted to a car driving at high speeds), but for the price, you get versatile magic arms that will perform wonderfully for many years.

If you’ve ever struggled to position a monitor or a microphone exactly where you need it, this K&F Concept 2-Pack of 9.8" Magic Arms is the answer. Their sheer versatility is the biggest selling point; they are truly usable anywhere you have a 1/4"-20 thread, making them an essential part of my camera cage and studio setup. The material quality is top-notch, featuring a solid metal build that feels significantly more premium than the plastic alternatives found in this price range.
The design of the single locking knob is brilliant—one twist tightens all three joints simultaneously, providing a secure fit that doesn't slip under the weight of a standard field monitor or LED light. I’ve been impressed by the durability of the ball heads, which maintain their grip even after repeated repositioning throughout a long shoot. The level of adjustability offered by the 360° rotation allows for creative angles that would be impossible with standard mounts. Given that you get two arms in this pack, the value for money is outstanding for any filmmaker or content creator. These have quickly become the "Swiss Army Knife" of my rigging kit!
