The screen on my X5 is pretty sturdy. After several months of use, I have not seen any scratches. But, since I'm a belt and suspenders kinda guy, I figured it wouldn't hurt to install a screen protector.I'm a fan of K&F products, feeling they offer good quality at great prices. This screen protector went on very easily. There are three protectors included, and three sets of wipes; a step one and a step two. Use these wipes, ensure the screen is clean, and gently place the protector on your X5.Once installed, it is invisible (see photo), and gives me a bit of peace of mind that my screen is safe from scratches, and to some extent, even being broken, unless the impact is severe.Highly recommended

I got this just to help keep the screen from getting scratched on my brand new X5. I have the folding selfie stick, so it's still 'pocketable' and I didn't want the screen getting scratched going in/out of my pocket. The fit is perfect, with the curved section following the curve of the device exactly. Applying it was easy, and I had no bubbles. It seems to adhere well, however as someone else noted, there is a strange 'crackling' sound sometimes - almost as if it is not fully adhered. I guess time will tell to see how durable that adhesive surface really is, and whether that affects durability. Boy only other slight concern is how easily it shows finger prints. I had hoped it might be a bit more resistant, but this shows every little finger print. At least you get 3 of the screens, so if one breaks or there is an issue you have backups. The glass seems to be of good quality and the touch screen seems to work without any change in functionality.

The Insta360 X4/X5 screens are curves, so it does make a screen protector much more difficult to form correctly. Because of that, this screen protector (and most other ones) is not fully adhered to the surface. I'm pretty sure I applied the screen protector as perfectly centered as possible. But I still hear it make a popping sound when pressing down on the screen protector. It doesn't affect the touch screen and it's still very usable. But it does get a little annoying hearing the popping sounds all the time. Other than that, the edges are perfectly aligned and you and can't it's there. It does tend to get a lot more fingerprints that the bare screen though.

I recently purchased the Insta360 X5 Essentials bundle. I choose to get these tempered glass covers to start out protecting my X5 from the beginning. I am new to the 360 camera world so the longevity of the product is yet to be seen.The install was easy. I like that the logo is still present when the protector is installed.
