K&F CONCEPT Black-mist 1/4 Filter Compatible with DJI Osmo Action 6 Black Diffusion 1/4, HD Optical Glass with 28-layer Nano-Coating (Threaded Mount)
SKU: KF12.0037
I’ve been a working commercial photographer for 40+ years, and ND filters are just part of my normal workflow on DSLR and cinema glass. Using them on an action camera is the same idea: slow the shutter, control exposure, and keep footage from looking harsh or overly “video-ish” in bright light. This K&F Concept kit for the DJI Osmo Action 6 does that well.My experience after real-world shooting:Accuracy of listing: Spot on. What they promised is what showed up, and it behaves as described. What’s in the kit: ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64 — a useful spread for anything from mildly bright to very harsh daylight.Image quality: Clear optical glass with solid coatings. No strange color cast in my footage, and no noticeable softening. Footage still looks clean and sharp.Functionality / exposure control: Works exactly as ND should — lets you keep shutter speeds reasonable so motion looks more natural instead of overly crisp.Fit & installation: Secure, lightweight, and didn’t mess with the camera balance. Attaches cleanly and stayed put.Lens protection: Bonus benefit — you’re keeping fingerprints, dust, and small debris off the actual camera lens.Build quality: Feels like quality gear, not toy accessories. Coatings seem durable, and the frames are thin enough to avoid vignetting.Value for money: For four filters, the price feels fair. Cheaper than “premium brand” sets but doesn’t feel cheap.Small note: This isn’t a “dramatic transformation” accessory — it’s a tool for better control and more professional-looking footage. If you shoot a lot outdoors, it’s genuinely useful.Bottom line:If you’re running a DJI Osmo Action 6 and want reliable ND filters to tame bright light and improve motion quality, this is a good, honest kit that delivers. I’ll keep using it.

The set includes 6 filters: CPL to reduce reflections and improve colors, four neutral density filters (ND8, ND16, ND32 and ND64) to control exposure in different light conditions, and a Black Diffusion 1/4 that gives a smoother and more cinematic look to recordings. All are made of high-definition optical glass and have a multi-layer nano coating that, according to the manufacturer, reduces flare and improves color accuracy. The finish is metallic and quality is evident in the construction.
The mounting system is threaded, you have to remove the protective glass from the camera and screw the filter directly in. This is slower than clip filters but also much safer for use on the go. I have tried pressure filters in the past that have been released when recording in situations with vibration, they are very well held and do not move. The filters enter the thread smoothly without resistance or looseness.
In real use, ND filters work very well to control exposure on sunny days and achieve slower shutter speeds without overexposing the image. CPL effectively reduces reflections on water and shiny surfaces and improves color saturation without leaving it artificial. The image quality remains sharp without loss of detail or vignetting in the corners. The coating repels water droplets and fingerprints well.
The only thing that requires a little practice is to adjust the polarization angle according to the orientation of the camera relative to the sun, but this is normal with any polarizing filter.

The K&F Concept ND Filter Kit for DJI Osmo Action 6 is a well-rounded, high-quality solution for controlling exposure across a wide range of lighting conditions. The included ND8, ND16, ND32, and ND64 filters make it easy to dial in proper shutter speed whether you are shooting on cloudy days or harsh midday sun. Image quality remains excellent thanks to the AGC optical glass and advanced 28-layer multi-coating, with no noticeable loss of sharpness or color accuracy. The ultra-thin, lightweight design fits securely on the camera without affecting stabilization or introducing vignetting. Overall, this is a reliable and professional-grade ND set that significantly improves video and photo results for Action 6 users.

Straight out of the box, this filter kit feels well made and solid. I have been using it over the past couple of days mainly for outdoor action footage and travel clips, including walking shots, bright daylight scenes, and reflective environments such as water and glass.Installation is straightforward thanks to the screw-on design, which mirrors the original lens cover. Each filter threads on smoothly with no resistance or wobble, and once fitted, it feels secure with no concern about it loosening during movement or vibration. The slim profile also means it works fine with protective cases and accessories, which is important for an action camera setup. In real-world use, the combined ND and polarising effect makes a noticeable difference. Exposure control is much easier in bright conditions, allowing slower shutter speeds without blowing highlights. Motion blur looks more natural, especially in walking footage and panning shots, which helps reduce the overly sharp, jittery look common with small sensors. The polarising element also cuts glare effectively, particularly on water surfaces and shiny pavement, while boosting colour saturation without making footage look artificial.Optical quality has been very good so far. Footage remains sharp across the frame with no visible loss of detail, colour shift, or corner softness. The multi-layer nano coating seems to do its job well, as reflections are minimal and the surface resists fingerprints and water droplets better than basic filters. Light rain and splashes bead off cleanly, making them suitable for outdoor and wet-weather shooting. The range of strengths included is practical. Lighter filters work well for overcast or mixed lighting, while the stronger options are useful in harsh midday sun. Swapping between them is quick, and the engraved markings are clear enough to identify the filter strength easily when working on the go.One small downside is that, as with most ND/PL combinations, you need to be mindful of polarisation angle. Rotating the camera relative to the sun can slightly change the effect, which may require a bit of trial and error when framing shots. It is not a flaw, but something users should be aware of if they are new to polarising filters.Overall, it has met my expectations and I would recommend it if you are looking for a well-built filter set that offers solid optical performance and better exposure control for action footage.

this is a handy, nicely priced set of OA6 ND8/16/32/64 filters in an easy-access case for budget-friendly functionality without a problem. admittedly, as are many folks in the end of Q4 2025, i am still waiting for the receipt of my OA6 to confirm fit, but given my trust of the K&F brand, i do not expect anything but perfection. an update will be forthcoming if that is any different. 5 stars for now.

This latest assortment of filters from K&F is aimed at the DJI Osmo Action 6 user and arrives well presented in printed packaging bearing the K&F branding. The set of 4 filters, ND8/PL, ND16/PL, ND32PL and ND64/PL, are safely housed within a handy plastic case, ensuring their protection and also included is a small cleaning cloth. The filters are the usual K&F high quality and are very light in weight but also easily thread onto the DJI Osmo Action 6 snugly and securely. The range of ND filters will cover just about every possible lighting scenario that you will encounter in your action camera use and will enable you to select appropriate shutter speeds in brighter conditions, while the PL filter will allow the minimising of reflections in most conditions. All in all, the filters are user-friendly and easy to install, delivering impressive results with the usual high-quality K&F optics.Very good value comprehensive set of filters at this price point.

I use a lot of filters from K&F and they’re all great quality. This one for the Action 6 is no different. They replace the lens guard that’s on the camera and fits just as well. They do what they’re designed to do and that’s to act as sunglasses for your camera. A little time consuming have to screw on and off each filter when you need to change them though. Still a good ND filter set for your DJI Action 6.

After taking the K&F Concept ND8&PL, ND16&PL, ND32&PL, and ND64&PL filter kit along on a full mountain hike with my DJI Osmo Action 6, I came away genuinely impressed. The filters feel solid and well made, which was reassuring when swapping them out in windy conditions. Despite the rugged build, they’re surprisingly lightweight and didn’t interfere with the camera’s white balance at all — something I was slightly concerned about before setting off. Each filter clipped on securely and fit perfectly, with no play or vignetting. The range of filter strengths really proved its value throughout the hike. Lower ND levels were ideal in shaded forest sections, while the stronger ND32 and ND64 came into their own above the treeline in harsh midday sun. The built-in polarisation helped cut glare off rocks and the water in the streams, while deepening the sky and improving contrast. For both stills and video, the results were noticeably smoother and more cinematic, especially when filming walking shots or panoramic views from the ridge. On reflection I'd say this kit felt purpose-built for outdoor adventures. Durable enough to handle a demanding mountain hike, light enough to forget it’s there, and versatile enough to adapt to constantly changing light conditions — a great companion for anyone using the Osmo Action 6 in bright, high-altitude environments.

First thing I do on getting a new camera is pick up a set of ND filters and a CPL, and of the course the first name that springs to mind when looking for these is K&F as they have been protecting my lenses and improving my image quality for as long as I can remember. And these are no exception, machined to exact tolerances and optically very clear with zero aberration in use, they feel like they are built to lastThey attach easily and - more importantly- come off just as easily.if it is your first time using these then you may find the factory fitted lens protector quite difficult to remove, this is put on by machine and experience tells me some are very tight indeedDon't be afraid of breaking it, just persevere and it will eventually loosen and spin offIf you are looking for a set of filters and don't need anything past ND64, then your search has ended, functionally these are as close to perfect as you are going to find and at a very completive price.
