I have not yet been able to test all the filters, especially because I am still a good hobbyist, but I can say that the filters are positioned well and are firmly fixed. It is quite simple to set up but I would advise you to be thorough, so as not to force stupidly on the camera of your dji mini 5pro. That would be stupid. The box is very well made and the box keeps the 4 filters protected and the box fits in my bag for the dji so impeccable.

The 6 filters come in a plastic box. Since this is slightly larger than necessary, the attachment lenses can be removed very easily (even with thick fingers). The workmanship leaves nothing to be desired. No shaky fit on the camera that you have to worry about the lens falling off. The lenses can be changed quickly and easily. The weight of an attachment lens is 1.55g and can be easily mounted on the DJI Mini Pro 5 drone, the total weight must not exceed 250g (+ 3% manufacturing tolerance) = 256g. Since the sun was visible again in the last few days, I was able to test the filters extensively. Glare from water and glass is reduced and my images have received richer colors and better contrast. I am completely satisfied and can fully recommend this set.

Set of 4 Neutral Density filters for DJI Mini 5 Pro, with light reduction values that cover a wide range: ND8 (-3 stop), ND16 (-4 stop), ND32 (-5 stop), ND64 (-6 stop). There is also the set with an even greater reduction - with the addition of an ND1000 filter, which allows a reduction of 10 stops - but personally I have never felt the need for such a high reduction. The filters are well made, in optical glass defined as “premium” with also a hydro/oleophobic anti-scratch coating. The frames are made of plastic, and overall the filters are very light. They snap on, and the grip feels firm (the last thing you want is for the filter to come off during the flight!). A tiny cleaning cloth is included in the package. In conclusion: these filters perform their function satisfactorily, and the quality/price ratio is to be considered good (26.99 euros at the time of the review, for the set of 4 filters).

DJI Mini 5 Pro takes really good pictures out of the box, but with the help of ND/PL filters, the recordings are even more professional. That's why I opted for the 6-piece set from K&F Concept. The filters were delivered in a flat storage box. The filter is easy to install, snap on, and you're done, meaning that you can also change it quickly at any time. I always use the ND/PL filters for photos and videos, whether for drones, system cameras and action cams. In this case for my new DJI Mini 5 Pro. Because this makes the colors come across even more effectively. When it comes to ND/PL filters, I usually use ND4PL, ND8PL and ND16PL. The ND32PL and ND64PL, in winter with snow/blue skies and in summer with clear sunshine. Also with waterfalls and clouds to make the quick camera movements softer and gentler. Everything else is then razor-sharp. It's best to try it out yourself and then compare the results. The quality of the materials, including the glass, is impeccable and the workmanship of the filters is good. They are easy to install, they hold reliably, fit snugly and the recordings become even more professional. With PL filters, the images also become more colorful and richer in contrast. Explanation of the ND filter: I use them for long exposure and depending on sunlight. This makes the recordings silkier. What is a gray filter/ND filter? A gray filter is a filter where the entire surface of the glass is darkened so that less light can penetrate the lens. It is therefore possible to select longer shutter speeds and achieve the corresponding effects, such as fog-like water or soft, elongated moving clouds. Without filters, this would not be possible, as the image would be extremely overexposed or even completely white. The names for this set mean: ND4 = slowing down the shutter speed by 2 stops to increase the shutter speed ND8 = slowing down the shutter speed by 3 stops to increase the shutter speed ND16 = slowing down the shutter speed by 4 stops to extend the exposure time ND32 = Decrease the shutter speed by 5 stops to extend the exposure time ND64 Reduce the shutter speed by 6 stops to extend the Exposure time By using the various filters, you will quickly see how beneficial they actually are. Every professional works with such filters ;-) The polarization level can also be adjusted with these ND/PL filters, which has further advantages. I am very satisfied with this ND/PL filter set and would be happy to recommend the set. The price/performance ratio is in line with the good quality. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my review. I hope that I was able to help a bit with this.

Filters are kept in a nice hard plastic case with foam insert that they sit nicely in.The ND filters snap on and off the gimbal well, there is minimal purple cast on the stronger NDs but quickly fixed in post with a white balance tweak. The CPL has a smooth rotation to set the angle to reduce the reflection and glare.Good price for a solid set.

Really happy with this K&F set. All the filters snap on nice and snug to the Mini 5 Pro, no wobble or loose fit. Glass is clear, no colour shift, and the ND levels actually make a noticeable difference when shooting in bright light. The CPL works great for cutting reflections off wet roads and windows. Comes in a tidy little case too which keeps everything protected. For the price it’s a solid kit – saves spending big on DJI’s own filters and does the job just as well.

Pack of 4 high quality filters for the DJI Mini 5Pro. You have to check that the filters fit securely on the lens block, because at the beginning I had not clipped them properly and one fell off. So you have to hear the interlocking “clicks” well. Once in place the filter is very well fixed. A rigid box allows them to be stored and protected, and especially once the filter is in place, you can leave it on the lens and place the DJI protective case above, there is enough space. I recommend them to reduce reflections and improve contrasts when shooting.

These filters are an essential accessory for achieving maximum image quality. The kit comes with 6 different densities (ND4, ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64 and ND1000), giving you options for virtually any light condition. The carrying case is excellent: each filter has a perfectly adjusted hole, with foam that keeps them safe and protected. It closes well and the filters don't move or touch each other, so there's no risk of scratches. It's compact and fits easily in the drone backpack. The optical quality is very good. The glass is clear and crisp, with no rare color dominants. The filters are easily mounted and disassembled on the Mini 5 Pro's camera, fit perfectly without gaps and do not affect the gimbal. They are very light, you don't notice any difference in the drone's flight. I have especially tried the intermediate filters (ND8, ND16, ND32) and the results are excellent. They eliminate annoying glare on reflective surfaces such as river water, sea water, lakes... when you record with the sun on the side or in front. The video looks much more professional, with smooth movements and without that “jump” effect that unfiltered recordings give. The image saturation increases considerably. They also reduce overexposure of the sky on very bright days, maintaining detail in the clouds. The ND1000 is perfect for special effects with long exposures or days of very intense sun. The quality-price ratio is great. Because it has 6 good quality filters with a case included, the price is very good. Much cheaper than buying them separately and with similar quality to more expensive brands. Highly recommended if you have a DJI Mini 5 Pro and want to take your videos to the next level. The investment is worth it. For those who appreciate the technical data: • ND4:2 stops reduction (25% transmission, factor 0.25) • ND8:3 stops reduction (transmission 12.5%, factor 0.125) • ND16:4 stops reduction (transmission 6.25%, factor 0.0625) • ND32:5 stops reduction (transmission 3.125%, factor 0.03125) • ND64:6 stops reduction (transmission 1.56%, factor 0.0156) • ND1000:10 stops reduction (transmission 0.1%, factor 0.001) Optical construction - Multilayer system: Base substrate - HD optical glass: • Material: Low iron content (ultra-clear glass) • Refractive index: ~1.52 (BK7 standard or equivalent) • Visible spectrum transmission: > 99% without coatings (380-700nm) • Optical homogeneity: xl/4 PV (Peak-to-Valley) or higher • Thickness: Estimated 0.5-0.8mm (stiffness/weight balance) • Flatness: <0.5mm deviation on active surface Mounting system - DJI Mini 5 Pro specific frame: Frame material: • Engineered polymer: PC (polycarbonate) or POM (polyoxymethylene/Delrin) • Advantages: o Weight ultralight: <2g per filter (critical for sub-250g drones) or Higher impact resistance to metals in similar thicknesses or Thermal expansion coefficient compatible with the drone body or Non-conductive (elimination of short circuit risk) Critical weight considerations: • DJI Mini 5 Pro base weight: 249g (low critical 250g regulatory limit) • Full filter weight: ~2-3g • Safe margin: Keeps drone under 250g even with filter mounted • Regulatory implication: Preserves C0 (EU)/sub-250g (FAA) classification without registration in many jurisdictions Physics of ND filters - Technical Foundations: Problem without ND filter in bright conditions: • Camera forces fast shutter (1/500s, 1/1000s) to avoid overexposure • Result: “stuttery” or “stroboscopic” motion, loss of natural motion blur • Video looking like an “amateur camcorder” vs. “cinematic” ND filter solution: • Reduces incoming light → allows slow shutter (180° adjustment) → correct motion blur • Professional “cinema” quality video Practical user guide (for DJI Mini 5 Pro - fixed aperture f/1.7, ISO base 100): ND4 (2 stops): • Conditions: Light cloudy, sunrise/sunset, open shade • Approximate EV: 13-14 • Use: Days with moderate light, transitions between shade and light ND8 (3 stops): • Conditions: Normal daylight, partially covered sun • approximate EV: 14-14 15 • Use: Most versatile of the kit, covering 60-70% of typical daytime situations • Ideal for: Early morning hours and late afternoon ND16 (4 stops): • Conditions: Bright sunlight, noon on clear days • Approximate EV: 15-16 • Use: Standard for general daytime flight, especially 10am-4pm • Perfect for: Landscapes with clear skies ND32 (5 stops): • Conditions: Intense sun, highly reflective surfaces • Approximate EV: 16-17 • Use: Optimal for scenes with water, snow, sand • Reduces reflections specular images reported by users in ND64 rivers/sea (6 stops): • Conditions: Extreme zenith sun, latitudes close to the equator, summer • Approximate EV: 17-18 • Use: Midday in conditions of maximum brightness • Prevents: Blow-out of highlights in sky and clouds ND1000 (10 stops): • Conditions: Special effects, very long exposures • Approximate EV: Reduce EV18 to EV8 • Use: o Long exposure on video (silky effect in water, clouds with extreme motion blur) or Hyperlapses with exposures of several seconds or Extreme light conditions (glaciers, white deserts) • Limitation: Too dense for general use, very dark image under normal conditions Quick Reference Table (24fps, 1/50s, ISO 100): Condition | EV | Recommended filter -------------------|-----|------------------- Dense cloud | 11 | No filter Light cloud | 13 | ND4 Partly sunny | 14 | ND8 Normal sun | 15 | ND16 Bright sun | 16 | ND32 Bright sun | 17 | ND64 Extremely bright | 18+ | ND1000 (effects) Observable technical benefits - Analysis of reported use cases: 1. Elimination of specular reflections in water: Physical phenomenon: • Water surfaces act as imperfect mirrors (reflectance ~ 2-10% depending on the Fresnel angle) • Sun at a low angle → larger component of specularly reflected polarized light • CMOS sensors saturate in reflection regions → loss of detail (clipping) Correction mechanism with ND: • Reduction of overall luminous intensity → avoids sensor saturation • Allows to maintain a slow shutter for motion blur in movement of water • User reports:” They eliminate glare very well, especially in river and sea water when the sun is tilted” Technical validation: It matches the expected physics perfectly. ND32/ND64 filters are optimal for solar angles 15-45° above the horizon on aquatic surfaces. Note: ND filters DO NOT polarize (different from CPL filters). They reduce light uniformly but not selectively polarized glare. For maximum reflection reduction, combine with hybrid ND/PL filter (not included in kit). ND filter cleaning: 1. Air blower: Eliminate loose dust (never blow with your mouth - moisture and saliva) 2. Camel hair brush: Gentle sweep for attached particles 3. Microfiber cloth + optical cleaning liquid: o Circular movement from the center to the outside or NEVER rub hard (risk of scratching the coating) 4. Inspection with light: Check for the absence of debris, fingerprints, fungi Storage: • Always in a case when not mounted • Dry environment (< 50% RH) to prevent fungus on coatings • Moderate temperature (avoid extreme heat in the vehicle) • Separation of other elements that may scratch Pre-flight inspection: • Check for cleanliness of both surfaces (front and rear) • Confirm safe assembly (no gap that causes vibration) • Post-assembly gimbal test (automatic calibration must be completed error-free) Especially recommended for: • DJI Mini 5 Pro owners looking for professional film quality • Content creators who prioritize correct motion blur and controlled exposure • Landscape videographers, especially with water, snow or reflective surfaces • Users who travel between multiple light conditions on a single flight Not recommended for: • Exclusively night or indoor flights (counterproductive ND filters in low light) • Static aerial photography (priority is high shutter speed to freeze motion) • Users who only record automatically without manual exposure control Final recommendation: Required purchase for any DJI Mini 5 Pro owner serious about video quality. Professional aerial cinematography is technically impossible without appropriate ND filters in fixed aperture cameras such as the Mini 5 Pro. This kit represents the most affordable entry to the professional workflow without compromising visible results.
