If you are looking for a tripod for your 35mm DSLR with a normal lens, this is probably not the one that you want. This is a big, heavy tripod intended for large optics or cameras. Think big professional studio cameras, cameras with long range lenses (1000mm and up) or spotting scopes. It works great for it's intended purposes. Smooth operation and extremely stable.

Stable and Strong design. Love the feel of it. I also have a great $200-$300 Small Rig Tripod, which is great but this K&F one has a better rotating head and seems sturdier. Very good first impression.

This product was sent to me for review as part of the Amazon Vine program. The following reflects my real-world experience using it.
I requested it because I use a similar product, but it is a little short for my needs; I often film over large crowds, and the tripod I use does not give me enough height to get clear footage. The height of the K&F seemed absolutely enormous.
It is a very good-quality set; the tripod is exceptionally robust and sleek, and when fully extended, the legs are solid and not easily knocked by any small movements. The locking switches on each segment are secure, requiring a bit of extra effort to unlock, so, again, they are unlikely to be accidentally knocked.
I had no issues mounting my camera, and I liked the smooth action of the fluid head; it was easy to make minute adjustments to my camera's position without any unwanted shaking/vibrations.
Although it is a little bulky, it's easy to set up and take down again, and the handy carrying bag is sturdy, providing a compact solution for storage and travel - it would easily fit in a car's boot.
In summary, a useful and good value item.
