Unquestionable quality, from the box to the lens. Fantastic.
I mainly use it for video, although I also use it for photography, but more occasionally. It has a smooth feel, allowing for very precise adjustments.
But BEWARE! ‼️If you close it all the way, you can see the characteristic X effect, which I think is present in ALL variable density filters, but as I said, it's only noticeable using the maximum ND setting, which I never use either.

Therefore, I definitely recommend it. It offers a price-to-quality ratio that other brands don't, and fantastic details like the packaging and case are a plus.
I don't detect any chromatic aberrations or color casts. Very happy, to be honest. Don't hesitate!
Magnificent!! Magnificent!! Magnificent!! Magnificent!!

This filter is absolutely a work of art in itself. From the beautiful and functional packaging, to the solid matte build of the filter - I am in love and already going out to try it more than I was planning to.

It comes in a palm size, firm leather case with a ribbon to easily slide out the filter.

The filter screws in perfectly with my camera lens and the stops are smooth and easy to slide, but stays firmly in place as well.

I'm really impressed and will look out for more K&F Filters in the future!

Another excellent filter from K&F , from the packaging to the filter itself. Packed in a secure box then inside a leather look magnetic carry case. The filter itself has very well made glass with a metal grip for adjusting the ND range.
Fits onto my camera securely and the ND turns not too easy which is what you want really. Not the cheapest but deffo a lot of work has gone into the manufacture of it.
An excellent filter. An excellent filter. An excellent filter.

I've been using this filter for years, I bought it again because I lost the other one, overall a good product.

Love everything about this VND! The fact that it covers 1-9 stops is huge, as most filters usually cover 1-5 or some other smaller range which makes it necessary to carry additional filters. With this one, it not only covers a wider range but it doesn't shift the colors too badly to where you end up spending a ton of time in post processing to correct it. So far I haven't had any weird X-patterns either, though I've only used it on 67mm lenses. With that said, K&F did a great job with this one!

K&F filters have come a long way. This filter is sharp and has no aberrations around the edges. If you need a good ND filter for not a lot of money, this should be on your list.

I seriously like this filter. It comes in a nice leather pouch that keeps the filter very well protected. The filter is very well made, with solid metal construction. IMO, the color accuracy is really nice. I'm not going to say perfect, but only because each person sees things differently. The adjustment has a nice snug spin to it that holds its setting quite well. In all, the filter works as it should; my only complaint is that it has no hard stops. It's really easy to move out of the range. Not a deal breaker, I just wish they would add hard stops on my filters. This filter has earned a spot on my 70-200, and I use it quite often here in sunny South Florida.

K&F Concept has become one of those brands I trust without overthinking it—and this 77mm VND is a perfect example of why.
Right out of the box, it feels well built. Threads smoothly, no cheap plastic feel, and it holds its own in less-than-ideal shooting conditions. I've used it for both photo and video work, and it delivers consistently clean results.
No weird vignetting or color shifts (which is always my biggest concern with VNDs), and it’s been great for capturing motion blur in bright environments when I want that cinematic look. It’s especially handy when the lighting isn’t playing nice and I still need to stick to specific shutter speeds.
Durable, reliable, and does exactly what I need it to do. If you're in the market for a versatile ND filter that won't break the bank—or your footage—this one’s a winner.

I’m an amateur photographer maybe even more a hobbyist and trying to expand my knowledge and equipment from the videos I shoot. I have been really impressed with the K&F Concept equipment so far and this variable ND filter is no different.

The build quality seems consistent with the other equipment I have from them and is impressive to me. It feels solid and well made. Even though it is scratch resistant I am glad I haven’t had to test that particular feature. The included case is a nice bonus to help protect your filter when in storage or travelling and it fits in my camera bag without an issue. I found the grip to be beneficial when handling the filter. I also found the filter to be easy to put on and remove.

The adjustment lever makes it super easy to fine-tune the amount of light coming through. I love how smooth it rotates, and the clear markings make it easy to know exactly where you're set. It feels very beginner-friendly but still high-end in how it works. There’s no vignetting in my shots with my Sony camera’s 24mm or 90mm lenses, and the thin frame keeps things nice and compact.

The image quality is excellent—everything looks sharp and clear, and I haven’t noticed any weird color shifts or loss of detail. Even when shooting in strong sunlight or in the my studio area with backlit scenes, the filter handles glare and reflections really well. I’ve been trying to play with blurring motion using longer shutter speeds, and the results have been awesome so far, even though I know I am still learning.

For the price and the build quality, I think it’s a fantastic value. I looked at similar filters in local stores, and most of them cost a lot more without offering anything better. This one is easy to use, and performs great. If you're looking to experiment I found this filter to be a great investment.
