This K&F CONCEPT ND2–32 filter delivers clean, consistent light control with minimal color shift. The 1–5 stop range is smooth and predictable, making it easy to dial in exposure for video or long-exposure photography. The ultra low reflectivity and 28-layer Nano-X coating cut glare and preserve contrast, even in bright conditions.

Build quality feels solid, and the 82mm thread fits snugly without binding. Whether you're shooting waterfalls, cityscapes, or cinematic footage, this filter offers reliable performance with true-to-life color and pro-level polish.

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this. The coatings are perfect, the images come out perfect, the case it stores in is smart with the little pull tab to raise it up, the thumb tab is so nice to have for adjustment on the filter, and the range of stops is more than enough for what i need, or what anyone needs. This is on par with some more costly filters i have, so i think this one is worth it.

Fantastic Variable ND filter. K&F Concept has really shown itself to be a quality manufacturer. I own around a dozen of their products and they have all performed perfectly and are made super nicely. This is no different. There is a sort of rough finish to the exterior of the filter so that your fingers wont slip and so that the filter doesn't accidentally slide out of your hands. The small ridge on the outer filter wheel allows you to get a good purchase on it so that you can really dial in the amount of ND you are looking for while reducing the likelihood of accidental fingerprints on the glass. The rings rotate very smoothly yet are solid enough that they wont jostle loose or get bumped out of alignment while shooting. The glass is very nice and I see no big color shift when using this filter, though some shifting is normal and expected. This filter was minimal

Vignetting is pretty common on VNDs, but they are minimal if at all present with my filter. The case is a standout, being constructed of a leather like material, large enough for the filter to just drop in and slide right out. A magnetic closure makes one handed use very easy. Also the package is very nice, and more presentation quality than utilitarian.

A stand out VND, and while there are cheap ones available on Amazon, this filter is better than any bargain filter I have tested by miles.

This is the first VND filter above $100 I ever have. And I also have a similar Neewer (1-9 stops) one at only 1/3 price of the K&F VND filter. How they compare? The weight: 33g (K&F) vs 28g (Neewer), they both have hard stops, but K&F feels more solid. When installed on a Lumix 35-100/2.8, Neewer has all the description on the top edge, while all the stop marks on the bottom, while K&F has all the stop marks on the top, which makes the numbers easy to read. And I like that.

K&F filter has 28 coating, and Neewer has only 6 coatings. They both have no obvious color shift. I took 4 pictures from stop 1 to stop 4. On the histogram, K&F curves shift from left to right linearly, but Neewer curves move strangely. I thought perhaps the sunlight intensity changed, so I repeated the tests two more times, but the results were the same. You pay what you get. Later, I will do the similar tests for other VND filters.

With K&F VND filter, I have a more accurate control, and easy to use. The Neewer filter works, if you don't mind its problem. And I will compare this $100 VND with other $50 true color ones, to find out what are the differences.

I tested the K&F Concept 77mm variable ND filter for a while and was particularly impressed by its color fidelity and build quality. True Color technology ensures that images appear natural and don't have the yellow tint typical of many inexpensive ND filters. This is particularly useful for outdoor landscape photography.

The adjustability from ND2 to ND32 corresponds to approximately 1 to 5 f-stops, offering enough flexibility for longer exposures during the day or for working with a large aperture in bright light. The continuously variable dimming allows for fine adjustment, and the knurled grip on the frame makes the adjustment easy to hold. The aperture markings are also practical, allowing you to quickly find the desired light reduction setting.

The optics appear high-quality. Japanese glass with a multi-layer nano coating reduces reflections and better repels dirt, water, and oil. The CNC-milled frame sits securely in the hand and rotates smoothly. In backlighting, I didn't notice any annoying reflections or ghosting, and the manufacturer's claim of ultra-low reflection is noticeable in practice.

The filter is very useful for photography and video. It's well-suited for long exposures, reduces overexposure at wide apertures, and facilitates controlled filming with low shutter speeds. As with all variable ND filters, the best results are achieved when you don't constantly adjust the setting to the limit. In my tests, the so-called X-effect wasn't noticeable, but it can theoretically occur with extreme combinations of lens and maximum darkening. Overall, the filter is a very solid choice, especially if you value natural colors and robust construction.

As with other K&F concept products, this ND filter did not disappoint. It is incredibly well machined, and the optical performance is amazing. So yes, as for the "ultra low reflection claim" and "true color" claim, this is true. I had no weird color shifting or optical effects that were visible, and the colors were very precise. After proper calibration of the camera, what was shown to me in my editing suite was on point with the real-life counterpart. Very impressive, especially for the budget!

Using this on my anamorphic lens, and it's great! As the item says, it's true colour - there's really nothing noticeable other than the ND-ness of the ND filter applied when using this filter. So my lens is safer, my colours don't blow out, and my anamorphic lens can work its magic without layers of lens filter distortion getting in the way. The filter itself is nice and robust - feels like a solid, reliable filter, nothing plastic or light or flimsy about this thing!

Really convenient lens filter and of great quality, I like it!

The variable filter is of excellent quality, as one would expect from a K&F product in this price range. It feels solid, rotates smoothly, and delivers high-quality images.
But beyond the filter itself, I was also very impressed by the packaging, especially the inclusion of a semi-rigid leatherette case.

The filter impresses with its excellent workmanship and quality. The aperture settings can be individually adjusted, allowing for flexible exposure adjustment. A positive aspect is that image quality is not negatively affected, so shots remain clear and sharp. A practical accessory for photographers who want more control over light and exposure.
