72mm Magnetic Filter Kit CPL + ND2-32 + Black Mist 1/4 Filter Set + Magnetic Adapter Ring & Lens Cap,28-Layer Coated HD Optical Glass for Camera Lens - Nano-X Series (Compatible with 77mm magnetic cap)
SKU: SKU.2498
I've used many K&F products for my camera and have always been very satisfied with their value for money. Even if not everything was perfect, K&F has often surpassed the competition in my opinion.
The Magnetic Filter Set confirms this impression once again. It includes a polarizing filter, a variable ND filter from ND2 to ND32 – covering virtually all everyday lighting situations – and a 1/4" Black Mist filter as a special bonus. Everything is neatly and securely packaged in a practical filter pouch, complete with a lens cap.
The magnetic system is a real highlight: the filters can be attached or changed in a flash, without any cumbersome screwing. The quality of the filters is also impressive – they feel even more premium than the older K&F ND filters I've owned. Image sharpness is fully maintained, and colors and contrasts are reproduced authentically and naturally.
For the asking price, K&F offers a set that is both functionally and qualitatively outstanding. I have no complaints and can wholeheartedly recommend this filter set to any photographer or videographer.

I was eagerly awaiting this filter set, as I already use a square filter from K&F Concept for my shots, but unfortunately, it cracked during my last summer vacation.
Even in extremely strong sunlight, were encouraging, and I think you can't go wrong with this set in terms of price and performance.
The set makes a very good overall impression, and K&F Concept hasn't disappointed me with its durability so far! It's great that you no longer have to fumble around to insert the right filter. I personally find the magnetic adapter rings absolutely outstanding!
I'm looking forward to using it again and hopefully many more hours with this filter set, and so far, I'm happy to give it 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I used to think magnetic filters were just for lazy people until I had to film on a beach. Between constantly changing filters with sand in my hands and the blazing sun, I almost threw in the towel and my gear into the sea.
When I got this kit, the first thing I did was play around with the magnets like a kid. The click they make when they stick is so satisfying. My wife gave me a funny look while I was constantly removing and replacing filters. The adapter ring screws onto the lens normally, and then it's magic. You put the filter close, and bam, it sticks on its own. The first time, though, I got a little too enthusiastic and put it on backward. Luckily, I realized before I started filming, or I would have looked like a total amateur. I've been using it these last few weeks, and honestly, when you're filming and want a more cinematic look, you just take out the Black Mist, stick it on in two seconds, and you look like a pro. Before, you had to unscrew and rewind like a mechanic.
The variable ND filter is fantastic for when the sun appears and disappears behind clouds; you simply rotate the filter and adjust the exposure without touching the camera. The polarizer works well for removing reflections from cars and windows, although sometimes it's difficult to find the exact angle, and you end up twisting the filter around like you're tuning an old radio. Those 28 coatings they advertise must be true because I've cleaned the filters several times, and they still look brand new, unlike some other cheap filters I have that look like they've been run over by a truck.
What I miss most is a denser ND filter. The ND32 falls short for outdoor video in sunny conditions if you want to maintain a shutter speed of 1/50. I also notice that the CPL doesn't eliminate reflections as efficiently as my old Hoya HD3; it needs more rotation to find the optimal setting.

There is so much to talk about, with the K&F Magnetic Filter Kit, it's hard to know where to start! To be brief, this kit - as with other products offered by K&F - is top of the line! Suburb quality, attention to detail and truly innovative designs, makes for a company that is going to continue to bring magic to the industry!
The case - the actual case! - is a model of creative design and function meeting with form. The outer material is a grey/blue colour, and has a look of denim. Accent stitching is in orange - other stitching is black. Opening the case require lifting a large central flap, and then running a single headed zipper all around the outside. It is one of those designs where the the ends of the zipper runs, park onto the forth side. This means never having any stress on the zipper. Smart! Unlike most zippers, this one has a shield running along both teeth. The reason is to reduce possible water intrusion through the traditional holes between zipper teeth. Smart again!
The flap? If you forget to zip up the pouch, you can quickly fold down the flap and it will hold the contents firmly. The flap works with a magnetic clasp, and will not allow the pouch contents to spill out. Smart X3!
The back of the pouch has a loop for threading you belt through, or you can open the loop up as it is formed with velcro. By doing that, you can secure the pouch to something that you can't run through the opening - like a pole, for example. And above this velcro strap, the is a a nice, thick "D-ring" attached to the pouch. A simple clip will hold the pouch secure. Too many smart ideas to keep track of...!
There are leather bits of trim on the outside and a wonderful interior of four expanding pouches, made of a very smooth nylon like material. The bright colour makes it easy to see into each pouch and it is easy to retrieve any item you want. And that just the features and care that went into the pouch!!
I have a few dozen 4X5" filters for our video camera. Some are effect filters, some for colour correction, some grads for pulling in the sky, and on and on. I have a pretty good idea of filters and their uses, and have been doing this for almost fifty years. Let me state, that the quality and care that K&F puts into their product, is nothing short of amazing. (And "no", I don't work for them in any way!)
The kit presented here, is for image control and enhancement. With this kit, you can adjust for reflections, pull down the bright sky, open up the aperture and soften an image.
As with the great case, the filters - holder and lens cap, too - the quality is just amazing. You have terrific ideas that are well executed, and simple features - such as the optical glass - that is simply of the highest quality.
You first screw in the "baseplate" of the system - a black powered coated steel ring that attaches to the front of your lens. Talk about small details that are amazing - rather than having this ring with a complete knurled surface, it uses a unique placement I have not seen before. On the edge of this ring, the edge between the top of the ring and the front surface, and they have cut a very fine detail of lines. This is something you really have to look for. But it provides you with a gripping aid, when you want to remove this ring. Beautifully done!
Of the three glass filters, you have some different ways to change your image. For example, you have up to 10 stops of light reduction by using the ND option. This means you need to slow down you shutter, which can a big effect on your image. You can use the filer pack to cut reflections for light striking objects at a certain angle (water, windows...) And you have a terrific softening filter - a 1/4 Black Diffusion.
The Black Diffusion will take off, some of that "too crisp" look. These filters were used a lot in the earlier days of video production, to try and achieve a more "film look", over the hard edge of video. They might not be used a much today, due to increased options in the cameras themselves, but many of the "old guard", still like to use the repeatable insertion of an optical glass filter. (I'll raise my hand here...)
And I will have to apologize again. I did not mean to make this into an image making class. Or to go on for so long! Going back to the filter pack by K&F, it truly is a terrific kit. It is very high quality - not only the hardware, but the glass as well. I know the kit is not cheap, but you need to remember that this is a kit you will have for years. As long as your filter size of your lens remains the same!
Bottom Line - Wonderful kit! Feature rich in every aspect! Not inexpensive, but worth the price of admission!

Let's start with the positives.
The case makes a solid first impression. It's more than adequately padded, and thanks to the magnetic flap, the set can be worn on a belt with the zipper open for quick access.
The filters themselves appear very high-quality due to the CNC machining, the orange anodized surfaces and parts, and the embossed markings.
The angled knurling makes it very easy to rotate and remove the filters and lens cap, a noticeable improvement over filters with straight knurling.
The magnetic filter rings are very easy, quick, and intuitive to attach, making them particularly suitable for dynamic situations.
The locking screw on the polarizing filter and the finger tab on the ND filter ring allow for very precise handling and rotation of the rings. The polarizing filter is clamped to the magnetic adapter ring using the locking screw, which allows for easy adjustment of variable ND filters without having to worry about the previously set polarizing filter.
Polarizing and ND filters have a fixed stop in the direction of rotation, preventing them from being over-rotated beyond their adjustment range.
In my opinion, the magnetic lens cap is easier and quicker to attach and remove compared to traditional caps, and it stays securely on the lens even when bumped or shifting around in the camera bag.
I haven't noticed any significant loss of image quality so far.
Unfortunately, I haven't had much time to test the black diffuser yet, but I must say I liked the subtle, softer glow it produced in portraits taken in low light, and I plan to experiment with it in the future.
Now for a few minor criticisms.
While it's easy to add it to one of the compartments, a microfiber cloth in a small, separate compartment would have been a welcome addition.
Unfortunately, the filters are not as easy to remove as they are to attach. To separate individual filters or the lens cap from the filters, you unfortunately have to, for example, slide your fingernail between the filters to detach them more precisely. However, this is still less cumbersome than having to unscrew the filters every time.
Finally, anyone who already owns older magnetic filters, lens caps, or adapter rings should be aware that the components have become slightly larger. For example, I can't use the filters with my previously purchased adapter ring and therefore have to buy additional new adapter rings to be able to use the set more easily with other lenses.
All in all, I have to say that the set is particularly suitable for dynamic situations such as weddings, celebrations and parties, portrait and street photography, etc. In landscape photography, however, it's more of a "quality of life upgrade."

I was a little skeptical at first, (are filters just held on by magnets really better than ones being screwed on?) but I didn’t need to worry. As soon as I opened the package I could see this was a premium product. It was well packaged and the case the filters come with is well made and suited to the job. The filters are very well made, feel sturdy and have very nice attention to detail.
The magnetic ring screws on well and feels secure. The other filters all snap on nicely and give a good, strong connection. The lens cap fits on well and the whole package looks really good on the lens, I really like the orange contrasting colour.
Photo wise they work really well. Very easy to reduce light if needed, and they reduce glare really effectively if you want too. The black reduction filter works well too, and is easy to remove if you do want to keep deep blacks. This is a great product that I’ll be using for a long time.
The only couple of negatives I’ve noted is that you can’t use your lens hood with these filters. But with the light reduction filter that shouldn’t be too much of an issue at all. And a sometimes when I’ve pulled the lens cap off, a couple of the filters have come away too. This shows the magnetic strength is good, but could be irritating. Instead of just pulling, I’m tending to use my thumb nail to separate the cap from the filter first and then remove.
Overall I think this is a very well thought out product. It looks and feels like a premium product and all the filters work very well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Great kit to fit onto my Film Camera 50mm lens. I used step up rings to get to 67mm and it works great. The accordion case is great for access, though I dont love the open air nature of it when its not fully zipped in terms of dust ingress. there is also a magnetic flap so you dont have to commit to fully zipping it on the go, but its not strong enough to catch every time so I wouldnt use it. The magnet system is good and holds nicely, the front metal cover is durable and protective and snaps nicely. The CPL and ND are linked; you need to use the CPL with the ND to be able to action the variable nature of the ND and they fit nicely together and smoothly move with an arrow to indicate ND intensity. The mist filter is nice too and altogether makes this a great system to save time while shooting.

Great product, does what it's supposed to.
I would just like to see a wider selection, such as a magnetic sand filter/fog filter.
