I preferred this strap to the original one mainly because it's quick to detach and reattach using the snap clips (with a safety catch). The other two reasons were the width and softness of the neoprene strap and the removable battery and SD card pocket, which is also removable if not needed. I definitely recommend it, also because of the good price.

Excellent strap for my very heavy imaged stabilised binoculars. It also has a small pouch for the lens caps.
I have found the straps to be really comfortable.
